Excellent welcome. Clean and tidy site. Good hard standing.
Toilet block was clean and warm and showers good. Toilet and showers much better than most sites.
Would stay again

The site is well maintained, the toilets and showers are kept lovely and clean. We found all staff very friendly and helpful. The fishing lakes are well stocked.
The only downside was the cars going past the caravans to get to the top fishing lake, some go too fast and there was a lot of dust and dirt kicked up.
Maybe it would be better for those cars to go round the other way past the tackle shop.

Booked this site for the fishing, which is very good and cannot fault it, apart from the price which seems a little steep compared to other places. The site it self is well kept and staff polite. We found our pitch which seems far away from everyone else behind us is a working garage and during the day can be noisy and RAF Markham is close by so lots of planes over head. Toilets clean and tidy, but only 1 shower and 3toilets for the whole females on site and same for men. We also have along walk from where we were to get water and dispose of toilet waste and grey waste. It would help if there were two toilets blocks and more water points.

The site is very pretty and generally quiet. The owners are friendly and helpful. The fishing good and popular. The ladies shower/toilet block consists of 3 toilets and 1 shower meaning there are occasions when you have to queue for the shower. Gents facilities follow a similar format. Small shop on site for fishing needs and the odd ice cream. There is no TV signal and we failed to pick up anything in English on the satellite! The local shop is closed and the local pub is now a Chinese takeaway so no facilities within walking distance. The local buses are supposed to run every half hour and bus stop is within walking distance but we found they were very erratic. Nice walk by the river opposite site entrance but otherwise locality not to our liking, you need to drive further out. Chinese takeaway was good by the way but about a 45 minute wait on average.

Great site the fishing is good, site clean and very welcoming even helped with putting up the awning, wife is disabled toilet and facility ideal for her, we have visited site several times now and will be visiting site again this year weather permitting otherwise will be in early 2015. Only draw back is fairly close to local garage so during office hours you do hear the outside phone, just trying to be honest ideal for couple or family with older children as lakes are quite close to pitches and would not be safe for young children.
