 Back to basics campsite a 5 minute walk from Summerleaze beach.
The facilities are basic but more than adequate and always clean with plenty of loo roll. Showers are a small cubicle with communal changing area so I would suggest a surf towel and getting changed back at the tent if that bothers you (2 showers in ladies, 2 in mens but we never queued!) The showers were warm and free!
Outside there are two sinks for washing up, these have cold water to them but nothing a kettle full of hot water can't solve! Also there were outside cold showers to rinse your wetsuit!
We loved our time here and will be returning, ok it's a field with loos and showers but that's what makes it,
It's so close to Bude town, a great pub, the canal, Beach and coast path. (All 5 min walk!) Firepits were available to rent and the owner walks around each evening to have a chat about your day,
The cleaner did a great job whilst we were there spending a good few hours around midday cleaning!

This could be an excellent site, if the high charges were put back into the site, it needs new shower curtains, sometimes there was no toilet paper etc until mid afternoon. Toilets are in potting sheds! and the showers are in a trailer. You do not have to be a prude to use the facilities. Could have stayed on a campsite with far better facilities for roughly the same price. The excellent thing about this site is that you do not have to use a care as walking distance into Bude
