 Our favourite weekend getaway!
An hour from home for us, and our weekend haven!
Site always well presented and fab to walk round.
Great walks from the site, loved by our dog!
Terry, the owner, is wonderful. Very helpful and extremely laid back. Always contactable if any problems.
We are self sufficient, but site will be great, when the shower block/washing up area are finished.
About a mile walk into the village, with two pubs there and a village shop.
Always look forward to our stays there!

We picked this site as it was adults only and wow we were more than pleased with our choice. The large open pitches of well kept flat grass were great. We had plenty of room and electricity was on hand.
Fresh water and chemical toilet disposal were all close by. Showers and toilets to be built. The surrounding area is lovely and quiet with quaint villages and pubs close by.
There are lots of birds and the owner was very helpful in all aspects.
We used this site to visit snetterton it takes about 40 minutes to cycle there. I would love to visit this site again as it was just lovely.
No drain for grey water from motorhomes.

The site is just outside the village of Old Buckenham which is set around a large green. It is out of the way with public footpaths and easy biking a plenty.
The site is set on grass with two small lakes which have been planted up to encourage wildlife. The whole site has been landscaped and the whole area is very tranquil with plenty of room between pitches and nice countryside views and wildlife - lots of woodpeckers!
Currently there is electricity, fresh water and toilet emptying facilities and a cabin used for information, but Terry the owner, who is a true Norfolk Gent, is gradually developing the site to include washing and toilet facilities in the future.
We enjoyed walks and bike rides and had a lunchtime pint in one of the pubs and sat out on Old Buckenham green watching the world go by. There is a handy store in the village to get Newspapers and the necessities.
This is a little visited area of Norfolk and I think underrated, the villages are full of history and interest and Snetterton racetrack is nearby.
All in all our party of six in two caravans and a motorhome had a wonderful peaceful weekend away - recommended.

Lovely tranquil peaceful site. Ideal base for walkers and dog owners. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of bigger sites.
Small village with 2 pubs, one of which served meals, although we didn't use that one. A handy grocery shop.
If its a quiet relaxing time your looking for this is an ideal site
