 Wonderful relaxing site. We pitched on the edge of the lake and watched amazing sunsets every night. The pool was clean, we were the only ones in it on the days we stayed! The shower and toilet block was clean, you needed toilet roll! The French owner was very welcoming and helpful, with local walks in English if you wanted to use them. Do go to Bez Bedene, a fascinating little spot, and Entraygues sur Truyere, which has a night market in the high season and a lovely salon de The plus a great shop for presents, le Petit Pois!
We would return as the area is so full of surprises though everywhere is a drive away!

Very friendly new French owners.
Our youngest (15 at the time) did an introductory course in scuba diving and even our oldest daughter who has special needs tried a few sessions in the pool.
We went on the lake with a motor boat. Also tried the pedalo and canoe a couple of times.
Due to us booking early in the year we managed to get a really beautiful pitch overlooking the lake. The campsite is quiet. We were very lucky with the weather, too.
A slight downside was that the restaurant was only open on special occasions, we had hoped to be able to sample more of the local delights. However, we found a good restaurant in the neighbouring village. Toilet block was o. K. (unfortunately, some of our fellow campers weren't always as clean but thankfully this was soon rectified by staff). Swimming pool was very clean.
Small shop in the village nearby - you'll need a car or motorbike though. We usually combined shopping with dinner /lunch out and an excursion. Bigger supermarchés are about half an hours-drive away.
Fantastically beautiful area.
We were incredibly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness by the management.

This site is a short drive from the lively town of Laguiole with its famous knife making workshops. On the edge of Lac du Selves it is ideally placed for fishing, wild swimming (although the site also has a swimming pool) and walking in the Aubrac mountains. The Dutch owners keep the site clean and tidy and provide reasonably priced meals in the bar/restaurant adjacent to the swimming pool. We visited at the end of June before the French school holidays. The site was about half full with all facilities open and beautiful weather.
