We love this little site and use it multiple times a year!
The revamped facilities are fantastic (just don't forget your 20p's for the shower).
Suzie and John are very friendly and welcoming.
Perfect location for popping into Weymouth, Portland or going further along the coast.

Our family love this certified site because it is peaceful in a beautiful location. A get away from the hustle and bustle place. Basic facilities which are being updated.
Electric hook up if required. Wild life on the doorstep, course fishing available, lots of walking. Tractor tours of the farm ( which is a working farm) Space for children to run around and play but no play equipment provided.
The children are always made to feel welcome and there are children living on the farm.
There is a bus service at the top of the road, a pub within walking distance but you will need to travel to the nearest village, Chickerell, for basic shopping, ie milk, bread etc. Weymouth or Abbotsbury near by, beach fishing from Chesil beach.
A little gem that we keep coming back to.

My wife and I are trying to emulate the BBC programme by driving our motorhome round the UK coastline. Moor Farm was our first site on this phase of our adventure.
Well located for Weymouth, Chesil Beach and Portland Bill it is a small farm site with very basic facilities. There was only one other unit there when we stayed and I have to say that we found the ablutions a little in need of attention!
A bit expensive for the facilities offered. The family were very welcoming and showed us some great views and walks across their land. Very quiet, with a good pub less than a mile along the road to Bridport.

This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site located just off the Weymouth-Bridport road about 3 miles from Weymouth, on a working farm.
Set in pleasant surroundings, the facilities were basic but adequate, toilets being situated within a barn area and a dishwashing sink just outside, with bins for segregated waste and a large skip for 'burnable rubbish'. There seemed a fair mix of grass and hardstanding informal pitching areas.
It was possible to walk from the site following marked footpaths (could be muddy in places) to the Fleet Lagoon - the water held back by Chesil Beach, an interesting geographical feature in itself - but to reach the sea proper you'd have to travel several miles northwest or southeast.
I understand there is a bus service (not used it myself) which passes the end of the drive to the farm en route to/from Weymouth, which of course is a historic resort and seaport with regular fast craft services to the Channel Islands and St Malo.
