Just to report the site is still open despite the owners who now must be in their 80s saying last year they were going to close it for camping. I think the local naturists who use the place as a club are encouraging Philipe & Sarah to keep the place open.
As the previous reviews state site is well placed for a stopover just minutes from the main A20 autoroute. We have always stayed a few days though as it is a nice friendly place. This year the place was still maintained ok with mown grass & clean but basic sanitaires.
Carrefour supermarket is only a few minutes walk from the site as well There is a small pool & free wifi around the reception. Only cash payment taken but cost with ehu for 2 is less than 20€pn.
There is no website but site is easy to find. Coming south go off autoroute into Vatan all through village & turn right beside Carrefour supermarket. Site entrance is about 300mtres on left. If you want to visit in 2021 then phone in your best French or just turn up. If the place is open I’m sure they will let you in.

Site is much better maintained than in recent years due to the elderly owners taking on a maintenance man. The affable Steve who is English. Site is still quite natural & wild but grass is mown & vegetation trimmed back to allow easy access to pitches. Good location for overnight if travelling to Dordogne or further south. If you are only staying a short while them pitch up in the main field but check for ehu point first as some require a long cable run. Ehu boxes now modified with modern blue/white sockets but electrics do look a bit rough. It works though & amperage is good. If you want a more shady & secluded pitch then walk around first because site is bigger than you think.
Free Wifi available just around reception area & you need to be quite close for it to work. Small pool is clean & well maintained & very welcome in summer as temps can get well into 30s in this flat part of central France. Baker does not call anymore but the Carrefour supermarket is only 4 mins walk from gate & open 7days. Sunday only in morning. There is small modern shower & toilet block with plenty of hot water & also a more rustic sanitair that is ok in hot weather. Site could be described as basic but quite charming.
Website has not been operational for a couple of years now & I doubt it ever will be again. Site is never full & owners speak no English so for Brit campers this should be considered as just turn up. No point in any advance booking really. Site fees are cheap. If you want cheapest park car in carpark as extra cost to keep car on pitch. Even in high season 2 + electric is well under 20€. Site is easily found. Coming from north off A20 Vatan. Through village & turn right at Carrefour supermkt. Drive straight through gate past building to reception. All payment in cash no credit cards taken.
The owners Sarah & Philippe are very sweet & it's worth really trying with your French to chat with them & their many local friends that turn up on sunny days to play petanque. Sarah will take orders for food from 5pm on. Reasonably priced stuff like pizzas & salads etc. Vatan village centre is worth a look around. There's a couple of bar/restaurants & 2 cash machines in village as well.

Initially called into Le Moulin de La Ronde by mistake - our GPS symbol on the map didn't differentiate between standard or naturist campsites! When you're cycling in +30degC and the next campsite is 30kms away the decision to stay is easier to make.
Really glad that we did as it was our first experience of naturism and we loved it. The sun on our backs and the sense of freedom has stayed in our minds ever since.
The owners and other campers were really very friendly and the site suited our style of travel/camping - we are long distance cycle tourers.
The facilities were as good as any of the 60+ campsites we had stayed at on this trip and the site was kept well with great secluded pitches in the woods as well as the more open camping field. As the site is very close to the town provisions etc were readily at hand.
We have already earmarked the site as part of our next year's tour.

This site is very convenient for naturists in transit south, but isn't really a holiday site - though it does have a small pool. It's very rustic (increasingly so as the owner's age)with horses in an adjacent paddock. There are two small shower blocks - one newer and the better of the two in my opinion. Some areas are now very overgrown compared with previous visits, but this may improve as the site gets busier in July and August.
Lovely friendly welcome, near to a supermarket for stocking up, and there is cheap fuel at the supermarket pumps. Easy access, though a very narrow gateway which needs care.
Naturist cards are required

We visited en-route to the Dordogne for 2 nights and would agree with most of the other reviews so will not repeat.
It was a highly convenient and a very easy stop-over on the edge of the main route south / north for us with supermarket & cheaper fuel almost next to site. About a 1 mile detour on our trip as the junctions adjoin the village.
Its a bit rustic, our email enquiry was very simply replied to in french. The main field, recommended, does slope a little - we didn't ramp for 2 nights, for longer we would as we were pitched side on to the slope. Top of the field is more level but needs a double+ of hook up leads to reach limited sockets / ehu at newer toilet block. Facilities were fine & the site peaceful.
We were asked for INF / BN cards on arrival.
Mature Owners clearly used to visitors just arriving en-route.

I would just add to the other review, that access can be tight, particularly if the gites near the entrance are being used, and cars parked adjacent to the gites.
A lovely rural site, very quiet, with a small bar open as necessary - the owners are always around and available, and we found them very friendly. Meals can be ordered. The new shower block is lovely and kept very clean indeed. The supermarket within walking distance has a good choice, and prices are reasonable as this is not particularly a tourist area. Fuel prices are reasonable too.
There is a communal meeting room, with an area for cooking, a library of books and games, and a lot of tourist information. There is a communal barbecue.
We stayed two nights, and had most of one day with the site to ourselves, on a beautiful hot September day, which made a great end to our holiday.

Very convenient location and generally nice & friendly site. For once the owners were French and very helpful, although Madame did not speak English.
Pleasantly quiet, rural and secluded and although we only spent one night there we left with pleasant memories.
Facilities were adequate, but we were not sure about the meal we had there (pizza).
An ideal staging point for travelling further afield. However hours in the car left us wanting to do it all by bicycle next time (wth clithes on between campsites!)

This is a small naturist site we have been visiting for many years. Unless you like really quiet & cheap you wouldn't want to spend your whole holiday here, but it is good for a few days.
The site is very accessible just off the A20 autoroute at Vatan, sth of Vierzon. 325miles out from Calais so ideal for overnight stop on way to Dordogne or further sth. From north drive thru village & turn right at Carrefour supermkt. Site is on left, walking distance to supermkt so very handy.
The site is used mainly as an overnight stop in season. Arrive at 3pm, it can be empty, by 7pm it can be quite full! The owners are very helpful & friendly, no English spoken, but when you arrive they just wave you in & you find your own pitch.
With a caravan you are better around the main field. There are secluded, shady pitches further down but better for tents & campervans. Pay when you leave. Car parking is in car park unless you are just staying overnight. Rates are cheaper if you stay more than 2 nights.
If you want ehu, check chosen pitch first as some require a long cable run. You will need 2pin adaptor. The baker calls 6 mornings/wk & there is a small outside bar & they will do stuff like pizzas/moules/frites if you want it.
Facilties are ok, there is a newish toilet/shower block('normal' toilets!)& an older more 'traditional' block.
The owners & friends are always playing boules in the afternoon, you are welcome to join in & there is a small above ground pool. 15mins walk to village centre or plenty of parking if you drive. Couple of bar/brasseries & cheap as this is not really a tourist area.
The surrounding area is plesant countryside & there are a few Chateaux to visit but as stated not really a touristic area.
If you like being somewhere quiet, cheap & totally French you might just want to stay longer. The overnighters are mainly Dutch so you always have somebody to speak English to in the evenings!
