A wonderful site. New owners as of January 2019 - a young couple who are clearly doing their best, and it shows. Although we only stayed one night we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
There is a small bar terrace, spotless facilities, (showers, loos, table tennis table, resident stork!) and site is clean, looked after, and the owners are incredibly welcoming.
Sluis town is gorgeous, within 5 minute bike ride and has plenty of eating options. All in all, highly recommended. Paid 30E.

Stayed here overnight before catching the ferry home from Zeebrugge. This is a mainly static/residential site but has several different areas with the tourers being on the pitches nearest Reception and the toilets and showers.
These are warm, modern and clean, though there is a 50cent charge for the showers. Although it is a large site it did not feel like it due to the layout and was very quiet during the day and at night. Email communication was good and it was no problem for us to stay on our pitch until 3pm before leaving for the ferry, for no extra charge.
Hans in reception was very jovial, friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English, and he put us on an open grassy pitch which, despite heavy rain in the previous week and thundery showers during our stay, was firm underfoot and not at all muddy.
The site is 10 minutes walk from the pretty town centre (busy with visitors at weekends) with lots of shops, 2 supermarkets and riverside cafes and restaurants (one in a windmill), and is well worth a visit.
The approach to the site through the town is along residential roads and may be a little tricky for larger units. There are signs to the site from the outskirts of the town but they are not always easy to spot, though we took it slowly and had no problems.
We enjoyed our short stay and would happily return for longer to visit Bruges, Knokke and the local area.

We found this site through the UK campsite pages. We had been told that the town of Sluis was nice so used it for two nights to take a bike ride to Damme. It would be an easy ride to Bruges (40km round trip) but we have already visited so spent time relaxing instead.
SatNav brings you to the back of the camp where there is no entrance - note to self start looking earlier for signage as it was there when we retraced our route. Receptionist was very helpful and sorted us a great spot on hard standing.
Very clean and well equipped washing facilities- remember your own loo roll and it was 50c for a 5 min shower.
There is a bar on site but was not open probably only open in high season but you're so close to the town where there is restaurants bars and shopping not a problem at all
Would definitely recommend it
Should say we are travelling with a small dog too and she was very welcome

Camp sites in Holland are always better than those in Belgium. Yes? And those in Belgium close to Bruges aren't very attractive, are they? So here's an alternative, within about half an hour's drive of Bruges, but over the border in Holland - and we found it very pleasant indeed.
But Sluis deserves a day's wandering about in itself -it's the historic port at the end of the canal built when Bruges completely silted up hundreds of years ago. And now in modern times it's full of nice shops, cafe's and tea shops - apple tart and whipped cream on every corner!
If you've got bikes you can find off road paths for traffic free pottering. If not, well the little town is an easy walk from the site.
We were there in May after a trip up to the bulbfields further north - this site was very quiet then with hardly anyone there, but all facilities open, and everything neat and tidy like a good Dutch site should be.
