A quiet site in a convenient location for enjoying that area, or an overnight stop from autoroute.
Carcassone is an hour's drive away.
Toilets/showers in warm, mobile- home type building when we were there.
Very pleasant, helpful owners. Access to pitches could be difficult for larger outfits - tight turns and gravel entry slope.
Pitches under pine trees.
Pitching an awning could be difficult - space and rocky ground.

Well-organised site with nice amenities and helpful staff. Lovely pool. Useful option of hiring a fridge at daily additional cost; we appreciated that staff took time to try to assist us when we had difficulty connecting their fridge to our UK electric camping sockets - take a converter plug! Be aware that when you hire a fridge it is in fact a waist-high fridge delivered to your pitch, so you need enough space in your tent/ unit/ or tarp etc to store it.
Nice location not far from attractive city of Narbonne, just up the road from old village of Bizanet. Scenic Corbieres wine country all around and streching down inland to Pyrenees. We enjoyed exploring inland as well as to the coast. Gruissan Plage des Chalets was one I knew from my youth and still the same.
We booked well in advance for July/August, and they will give you a pitch to match your tent dimensions. Some pitches are not huge, but all seemed adequate for the tent/ unit on the pitch. We requested a shady pitch which we were given; many pitches have picnic tables also. Bring rock pegs.
One open-sided toilet/ shower/ amenities block, and one smaller indoor block. Site was full but still very pleasant and enough showers etc at most times of the day. Would definitely stay again.

Overnight stop on the way back through France to Calais from Spain. Quite good position from toll road.
Reception speak English and watch out for the friendly goat wandering around!
Very wooded site, nice new facilities but too few even in October had to wait for shower and wash up sink(only one sink).
Secondary block there but open air therefore closed for the winter. Usual bread order available and I can highly recommend the pain aux raisin, to die for!
ACSI price 16 euros a night.

Wow what a difference. New toilets, new Snack bar overlooking
Enlarged swimming pool. Free wifi. Good sized pitches. We stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our stay.
10% statics. 2 toilet facilities with disabled access.
Advanced booking July/August. Dogs accepted not 1st or 2nd category.
We found this site in 2017 on our way back from Spain in March
Went back in July and then this year. Yannick and Samantha have made enormous improvements in the last year and for 25Euro per night is good value

One-night stop in January on our way down to Spain. Had a slight moment when finding the site as our Sat-Nav took us through a small village with very narrow streets. Only passable with a caravan with considerable care.
It was the only site we could find that was open at that time of year
Friendly welcome when we arrived but overpriced for the facilities offered. 18 euros a night in January?
Pitch provided was a good size with easy access.
Toilet - Showers in an old shed and both cold & uninviting.
Route from the West is confusing - from the East (Narbonne) its no problem at all.
Its handy for a stopover and Narbonne is just down the road for shopping etc

This little camp site, under pine trees out in the countryside, is quite different from the big commercial camps nearer the sea. For many years it was run on a small scale by two Dutchmen, but a new owner took over in 2008. The first owners put in a nice small swimming pool, but the other facilities were always sketchy - two showers, three WC's, all unisex. That was only just OK while the numbers of visitors were small, but now that the new owner is attracting more customers it is important that a proper toilet block is built. Maybe he has done that by now? Can someone please report on that.
Some visitors find a problem with road noise - though that is just a morning and evening thing when locals hurtle in and out of the city to work. Other than that Figurotta remains a very attractive small site, overlooking vineyards and forests. Ask for a pitch at the top of the slope where the views are best.It is open all year which is rare in this part of France. There is a small bar and cafe, though that may not be all the year round. Apart from the pool there is no other entertainment.
We have always liked it here and found the layout and rural/rustic ambience very pleasant.
