A pretty site in a quiet location with very friendly owners (who also run a B&B on site and a second caravan field - the 'top field').
The CL is very sloped in parts - our pitch resulted in the smell of burnt clutch for a couple of days! Be warned that if you've seen pictures on the net of the site with the hardstandings, this is the top field and not the Cl, which is all grass - however the owner will accommodate you on the top field if you specify you would like hardstandings when you book.
The toilet was always clean and the shower was well worth the 50p for the amount of hot water - although head height in the shower cubicle could be an issue if you're tall (however I'm sure you could use the shower in the top field if this was the case).
My children loved watching the cows in the next field and the high conifers surrounding the site offered plenty of shelter.
The site did seem a little overcrowded, but then we realised that for the duration of our stay (5 nights) there was always 6 units in the small CL field.
A great base - supermarkets in Exeter, lovely beach - albeit pebbles) at Branscombe, sandy beach at Exmouth but a little commercial for our liking! Sidmouth was lovely for an evening stroll and fish and chips on the promenade!

Great Location and excellent walking area. Our son did his Royal Marine training at Lympstone and Woodbury Common has excellent walks. The owners were very friendly and views from the CL site were great with the River Exe in the distance. The CL site was more sloping than in looked on Google Earth and the site entrance was at an awkward angle to the road junction. The owners have now opened the upper field with hard standings and that entrance is much better.
When visiting, make sure to visit nearby Bicton Gardens that are set in 68 acres. Good family value. If you like a challenge, try driving on the coast road to Sidmouth, very narrow road but with spectacular views. Also try the Bridge Inn as you go into Topsham which is one of the oldest pubs in the country and serves excellent ale from casks. It does not have a bar! In Woodbury, visit the Maltisers Arms were Jim and the locals will make you welcome. The Swan in Lympstone village has an excellent menu and you can follow the river patch to Exton where you can refresh with another pint at the Puffing Billy (its about 2 miles walk)
Will go again.
