This was our third visit to this site. We have now spent a total of 9 weeks with them and have loved every minute. We primarily use this site as a base for walking in the mountains. The number of walks in this (Valais) area, is unbelievable.
We have always found Mario and Petra really helpful. The toilets and showers are really clean but may be not the most modern. That said there is always unlimited hot water and we have never experienced queues to use the facilities. There is a restaurant which is very popular - often used by locals also. There is no pool on this site but there are facilities nearby.
Sometimes it can be a little noisy with road traffic but this is usually after 7am in the morning, ie local people going to work and doesn't last very long. We highly recommend this site either for a block holiday or stop-over particularly on route to Italy, via the Simplon Pass.

Not a cheap site - are they ever cheap in Switzerland? - but a really high quality one. We came at it from the east, but with a big caravan it's best to approach from the west from Lake Geneva, or from Italy via the Simplon Pass. You'll find the site between Susten and Leuk.
Everything here is in apple pie order in the Swiss way - on our first visit we were introduced to their twelve categories of recycling, and frowned at for putting an aluminium can in the steel can bin, and the wrong grade of plastic bottle in the wrong slot. They sold us a bag the size of a handkerchief for anything left over when we'd re-cycled all the rest.
Don't be put off. That's how Switzerland is! It's an excellent site with all the facilities you want and many you've never seen before - like private bathrooms with the higher priced pitches if wish. The owners take great pride and care in it. It's so good that the Caravan Club has it on the list of sites where they can book for you, so there are other Brits there. Is that an attraction or not?
This is an excellent site and a first class centre for this part of Switzerland.
