The campsite is located opposite the big festival ground, like others have said, the road leading to it doesn’t look much but keep going! The lady on Reception told us to go and find a pitch and let her know where it was as she locks your electric lead into the box. The pitches aren’t defined, which unfortunately causes people to either leave excessive room between units or, in our case, squeeze themselves inbeteen our and our neighbour’s Motorhome (it turned out they were friends and wanted to be together). Moving on, the electric was 16amps and there was a small on site bar. There were several wooden cabins which looked like you could rent. There were also several contractors living on the campsite full time, working on the festival ground opposite, but don’t let this put you off staying here as they were very quiet and we hardly saw them. There is a tram stop just behind the festival ground, but you can walk into Stuttgart through the park, which took 60 mins. The nearest supermarket was a Netto, which was a ten min walk and very well stocked. We also visited the vets while we were there to do our pet passports, vet was called Fritz Gross, 70372 Stuttgart +49 711 558281. He was very nice and about a 20min walk from the campsite. I would definitely recommend this campsite for its proximity to Stuttgart.

Stayed here on our way through Germany to Austria and also to visit the Mercedes & Porsche Museums - The site is next to a huge car park and within walking distance of train station and the Mercedes Museum and Arena and not too difficult to find - Unfortunately for us the Annual Fair was in town on the car park next to the camp site so it was extremely busy and we were a bit cautious as so many people about but it was fine and there were no problems at all - the facilities are good with good showers and heated shower blocks - shop & bar and takeaway food electricity is charged at what you use as we found common in Germany so used our solar panel !
