First of all although this review says we visited in 2009 we have actually stayed here several times since 2007, Mainly for weekend breaks.

The site is very well laid out and the staff on arrival were very helpful and soon directed us to our pitch, as we were arriving as a group they had put us to the very right hand side of the campsite in amongst the trees which was great for us as we could stay up a little longer chatting without disturbing other campers.

On our favourite pitch we could sit at night and watch the Bats and Owls flying only a few feet above our heads.

The pitches we have stayed on have no defined boundaries although trees do get in the way with really big tents.

All pitches have EHU and water taps are nearby.

There are other pitches for both tents and caravans which are marked out but are still very generous in size.

The Shower and washing facilities on site were always spotless, infact I have never found a dutch campsite with bad facilities.

There are plenty of things for the Children to do with many small play areas and of course the woods that surround the campsite.

There is an entertainment team during the summer and although all activities are carried out in Dutch they were very willing to speak English to the Children in our party and get them involved.

There is an outdoor swimming pool next to the campsite whcih you can get a free token from campsite reception.But be warned that although this is meant to be a Heated pool it was like jumping into the north sea in January.

Saying that the Kids seemed to love it.

There is a Supermarket nearby which you pass on the way into the campsite.

Less than five minutes on foot is a small pitch and putt golf course.
