It is a well run site. Fabulous new individual toilet, shower and wash hand basin cubicles which were clean and lovely to use. You need small change for the hot water shower. You have to go up quite a steep staircase to access the facilities.
We had a great pitch by the river. Free wi-fi. Dogs received a little present on arrival.
Delicious bread rolls could be ordered daily from the shop. Good access to Würzburg, 5 miles (8 kilometres) away via the cycling/ walking path by the river directly from the site.
There are trains and the motorway which you can hear in the distance from the site and one night it seemed a bit louder. Bird life was amazing.
Very busy river front which is fun to watch. Würzburg is a very special city because of the UNESCO World heritage Würzburg residence. It is also a lot of fun in the evening especially by the old bridge.
The site has a restaurant and a bar. The water disposal and water access for Campervans is awkward as you could easily hit the upper toilet block but once you realise this it’s not a problem.
Overall it is an excellent place to stay to visit Würzburg and some of the beautiful towns on The Romantic Road.
We were happy with the site, thank you.

This was a nice site and we got a great pitch overlooking the river. It was very hot while here so to be able to swim (with our dog) in the river was perfect!
The staff were all friendly and spoke good English and the bar was good although we didn't eat there, the food looked nice. There is only wifi in bar area but it was free.
You pay 50 cents for 5 mins shower token which was plenty of time.
We walked for 20 mins to bus stop into town and loved the town. Sadly it was too hot to visit the fortress but that means we have an excuse to go back!

Used this site as a stop of en-route to Austria last Summer. It is within easy reach of the Autobahn & was ideal for purpose at the end of the first leg from the ferry.
The pitches were spacious when we were there. There is a shop selling all the usual essentials including fresh bread for the following morning if you order in the evening. The staff are friendly & helpful & English is spoken.
There is a cafe/bar with an outdoor grill though we did not use it. Toilet facilities are good with everything being clean when we were there.
Showers cost €1 for which the hot water lasts long enough for two people to use (me & son). Be warned though, there are no shower curtains (in the gents at least!) There is a small children's play area with a treehouse & a variety of slides, swings etc.
The site is right on the River Main with facilities for boat launching, canoes, rowing boats, water skiing & banana boat rides available.
There is a very pleasant walk along the riverbank. The only down side was the noise from the railway & autobahn which though not loud, could be heard in the distance. Didn't spoil our stay though & we'd certainly stay again.
