The Crawley Inn pub and campsite has been closed for the last couple of years, following a fire, and remains shut at the time of writing. There is no fixed date for a reopening at present.

I went here for a stag weekend. What a blast. Atmosphere was amazing drinks were flowing, the locals were awesome made you feel right at home. Will definitely go there again very soon. Camping was good literally on the door step electric hook up.
Thanks again Crawley Inn I was well and truly Crawlied.
They should rename the pub to walk inn crawley out, coz you aint standing by the time you leave. Although the only down side is there was no access to toilet facilities after the pub closed but by then you really don't care much any bush will do.

We stayed again, there was a great band on. A proper biker pub and you can have open fires. Thanks the all at Crawley for the great weekend. Don, t expect a lot on the site they have water and electric but it is in the middle of nowhere and if you have your own facility's its one of the best. Witney is just down the road so shopping and eating are on the doorstep. When we were there there was the bike club Christmas party, everyone was welcome. Give it a try, take your own wood and have a fire at the end of the night if you can drag yourselves away from the pub.

Well we stayed for one night, I wish it was a week. The pub had a band on and a good one at that. All the locals were more than helpful. There is another pub 600 yards down the road that does good food but you just want to eat up and get back as everyone was having so much fun. Lots of level spots, a stone circle and one electric hook up. You could be in the middle of nowhere on the site but its only 50 yards walk to the pub.
The beer was well kept the site was clean, the only down side was the toilets were in the pub so if you are in a tent you might need to get used to finding the bushes.
We will be back

Had a one-nighter here on the last Saturday of the month.
A great pub, very quirky. The landlord is a great guy too, very helpful and laid back.
There are no facilities as such, a water point and toilets in the pub, but that's fine for a short stay.
Not much in Crawley itself, but plenty in Witney in terms of shops etc.
More of a place to visit with friends rather than family. A good range of drinks in the bar too.

This is a wonderful site if you want to escape and relax. A traditional pub with a field over the road next to a small stream. We stayed in our campervan for the weekend and yes very very basic, but minimal charge per night and we where able to use shower and bathroom facilities in the pub.
A band was playing on the Sat night and we where welcomed in by the locals and have a fab time and cant wait to return. So for a unusual campsite, with a huge range of cider, go to Crawley.
We had a few lovely days out in Oxfordshire and was a great base.
