Spent a great weekend at this small site. It's just off the A66 about 5 miles outside of Keswick. Set on a working farm with really friendly owner.

Cost is a bargain - we paid £10 per night. All pitches are hard standing with electricity and there is a small and basic toilet and shower block.

Walking in the area is great. Ideal for quieter peaks such as Souther Fell and Back O Skiddaw area. We climbed Blencathra directly from the site which was a great days walking.

The Mill Inn in Mungrisdale, about a mile and half away, iis a great pub.

Great site.
