Brilliant little site, no hassle visit, all details required emailed to us days before.
Lovely laundry room, clean, tidy showers and toilets, buses just outside the entrance in and out of Falmouth,
Complimentary WiFi 😊
Perfect for us.
Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Falmouth area 😊

Positive: the site is clean and the owners are helpful and friendly. It's close enough to Falmouth to catch the bus or cycle.
There is a down hill walk into the local village and a pleasant pub too. It's dog friendly and the walking field is a decent size.
It's also a 10min walk to the local chip shop.
Negative : my wife didn't like the fact that the lady's toilet/shower block had a timer switch as many times she was left in the dark during sitting on the loo.
Many dog owners weren't Adhering to keep dogs on leads.
Even with ramps it was hard to get a level on the vehicle.

Site was very well placed for bus routes to different areas, and also close enough to walk to several beaches and also into Falmouth. Short walk through woods and fields to Budock Water with very good little village shop
The loo block was spotlessly clean
The free Wifi was a big bonus, and no extra charge for dogs was welcome, dog exercise field very handy
Quite expensive per night, especially as out of season and a shame about slight road noise from main road.
Owner was friendly and helpful.
Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Very peaceful and well maintained site. Our visit coincided with the Falmouth sea shanty festival so it was busier than normal but the site is large enough not to notice.
Perfect spot to visit the local beaches and short walk to the South West Coast path.
Falmouth is only a 10 minute drive so great for the ferry to St Mawes and an evening out in a thriving Cornish town with plentiful shops, restaurants and cafes.
The only potential problem at the campsite is there are only 2 male and 2 female showers so this could get busy during peak times but we had no issues mid June.
We wouldn't hesitate to return.

The site was immaculate with friendly owner on arrival.
All the pitches were spaced out and other users were welcoming.
Our dogs loved the walking area.
The location was beautiful.
Very close to beach as we wanted with lovely walking and restaurants within walking distance.
Definitely return.

Quiet site above Falmouth Bay. Easy walking access to the town, beaches and railway station. Co-op food shop nearby on the walk from town so it was convenient to buy food.
However it was difficult to cross the main road safely from the pavement in order to access the campsite as a pedestrian and the crossing point is very close to a bend in the main road - there is no pavement on the campsite side of the road so it wasn't possible to cross sooner and walk on the other side.
Good rural views from the site. The ground is well drained so didn't get too muddy or waterlogged when it rained. Very clean washroom facilities and washing up area. Also a washing machine and dryer although I didn't need to use them. Plenty of drinking water taps.
The remote checking in worked well and I received all the information I needed. There are clear instructions as to the procedures to call if help is required.
There was no dedicated camping area for small tents so I had to book a large pitch with electric hook up that I of course couldn't use and didn't need. This of course made it more expensive than just being able to book a small pitch without electric hook up.
I was a bit concerned about the risk of my tent being run over by one of the large cars or camper vans especially when I heard vehicles moving near my tent after dark. On my final morning a dog belonging to someone else ran on to my pitch area and I was concerned about it running into my stove with boiling water or contaminating the food that I was preparing. I wonder whether notices to ask that dogs be kept on leads near the pitches would be advisable - it was stated on the booking details but I don't think there were any signs at the site.
Overall I was very happy to be able to find a campsite with the facilities I needed in that location. This is the closest campsite to the places where ferries run to the Roseland Peninsula, to Flushing and to Malpas and Trelissick - my plans for my stay were to catch ferries and walk around the coastline and creeks. I was easily able to do all the activities that I had planned, using this campsite as my base.
I am happy to recommend that in my opinion this is overall a good campsite.

Nice site just outside of Falmouth. Pitch sizes are really generous and has a nice open feel.
Owners are very friendly and the site is well kept.
Facilities are small but were always kept clean and tidy.
Ideally placed to explore south cornwall and not far from Flambards, which was popular with the children.
