We had a brilliant holiday here with myself, partner and 2 children aged 11 and 12. The lake is just outside the gates, so great place to keep cool, sunbathe etc. The pool sometimes was busy, but my kids still loved being in there. Often a quick dip to cool down was so refreshing as we had temps of 36 degrees. Shops were a quick drive away with everything you could imagine.
We hired jetbikes on the lake, drove along to other beaches on the lake, went to a water slide park, but so hot so preferred to stay near the pool or at the lake.
Restaurant was nice, we ate there twice. The pizzas were lovely.
The couple running the campsite both spoke English and most of the staff did too. They were very helpful, giving us an extension lead for the electric hook up as ours wasn't long enough.
Toilets etc were always being cleaned. They did get very busy particularly late afternoon\ early evening so did get quite sandy\gritty. I showered in the morning as not busy and very clean. On a couple of occasions in the evenings we had to queue for a few minutes for a shower.

Visited Felix for 6 weeks May/June 2015. We love it here and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. It has recently been taken over by a French family, Ludovich and Galle. They speak very good English and are extremely helpful. If you have dogs and we do the nearby lake is a real bonus for cooling them down at least twice a day and the walk from the campsite over the hill and back along the lakeside is perfect for morning dog walk (about an hour). Don't forget your camera.
It has everything that you would expect from a French camping site eg clean toilet block. Hot showers and ample washing up facilities it also has washing clothes area with an old fashioned mangle. If you don't want to wash your clothes yourself then there is a laundry service at 4 euro a load. The most striking thing you notice are the size of the pitches they are enormous. There is a restaurant open certain evenings with dishes varying from mussels to pizza. A bar open every evening, wifi is free, there is a play area for the kids a table tennis table a volley ball court and a football pitch and a swimming pool.
In addition to a great site Felix is ideally suited to explore the Luberon to the north and the Camague to the west and of course the beautiful coves on the mediterainian.
The main super market Auchen is around 10mins drive away in Martigue and stocks just about everything you can imagine. I can see us returning here for many years to come.

We visited Felix last august and had a wonderful 2 weeks on this site. The pitch we were given was enormous and very private. It was close to the pool and there were also 2 toilets nearby. This was really handy as the main shower block was a little further away. The pool area has no loungers but we took our own and spent most days in the sunshine here. It was very peaceful and at times we had the pool all to ourselves.
The main toilet and shower block was rustic but very clean with good powerful showers and plenty of hot water.
Washing up facilities were plentiful there was also plenty of sinks for washing laundry along with an old fashioned mangle that my children loved using.
The park was small with just a swing but we prefer this to large sites with kids clubs etc.
The restaurant was open on set nights of the week and the food was good home style cooking with lovely table wine.
You can even order home cooked French fries in the evening to take away.
The nearby beach unfortunately was a bit seaweedy and there are no shops within walking distance so you need a car here.
We visited Marseilles and the camargue and the larger supermarkets were a 10 minute drive away.
Overall this site has a wonderful chilled out atmosphere and we will definitely be visiting again.

France is blessed with an incredible selection of small, characterful campsites, and this is one of the hidden gems.
Easy to find, 60km this side of Marseille, It is within walking distance of the beautiful Etang de Berre inland lake and its quiet beaches, with the Provence towns of Istres and Martigue only 7km from the site.
A 20 minute drive places right on the beaches of the Med.
Numerous Provencal tourist attractions are within a 40km radius, there is plenty to see and do in this magical region.
This delightful site run by Pauline and Joep.
No flashing lights, disco or Karaoke here well once a week.
Comprising 100 very spacious pitches with hook ups. The majority of pitches have shade and natural wind breaks.
Sanitary facilities are maintained to a very high level. BYO loo paper though
Word of warning - they are mixed facilities Keep a stiff upper lip and pretend that you comfortable with the continental style.
A small shop is open most of the day to supply bread Milk fruit, ice. Water etc
Restaurant & Bar well stocked with good varied menu.
Wifi is limited to certain hours but is free.
English spoken by all the staff and they were always very helpful.
Outdoor swimming pool, usual French laws apply no shorts or Bermudas for the males you must wear a proper pair of trunks.
The average temperature is 24 degrees but it was around 30/32 most of our stay during late August.
With our children ranging from 9 to 18 yrs we were worried that the lack of arcade and kids club facilities would have an impact on their holiday well they loved it they got to know each other again and became and still are, much closer. Had a great time with the Dutch, French, German and Swedish children also staying on the site.
We used the cam[ as a base to explore Provence, the Camargue and mediterranean coast.
No need to stock up with food to take with you Both local towns have Hyper-Markets and even Aldis and Lidls ( Ultra cheap wine) Beware McDonalds seems to cost 50% more over there.
We really did enjoy our holiday and have already booked a 4 week stay this August.
Just dont forget to leave room in the boot of the car for a case or two of the local wine on the way home.
