We stayed here for 3 nights. A very peaceful location. Ideal as a central base to explore
The showers and toilets are very basic but ok, the water was hot and there was a timer for the shower. My complaint is that the toilet and shower was never cleaned in the 3 nights we stayed and there was no toilet paper either.
This I would have said is basic hygiene that you would expect of a site and especially with the covid situation extremely disappointed!

This is a small C. L. Farm site in the rural area of Horton.
The site itself is on grass with electric hook-ups available and enough space between pitches. The facilities are based in a small rustic building which comprises of two shower/toilet rooms.
In the immediate area it is farms and fields with footpaths across them. You can stroll into Chipping Sodbury (2 and a half miles), along a country lane. Where you have a Waitrose, several pubs, some restaurants and cafe's.
You can head an extra mile into Yate shopping centre (not quite the same character of Sodbury), there is a Tesco extra, Cineworld and most shops you would expect.
This is very much a peaceful certified location, paid £15 a night, would return.

Lovely little site in beautiful area. Not much there if you're looking for the high life but perfect if, like us, you just want peace and quiet.
Two toilets and showers which were more than adequate. I can't say spotless but there was a family with six children on site so they were probably being used far more than was usual for a small CL.
I can't comment on the showers myself, I prefer my own facilities but my husband used them and said they were very good.
Very friendly and helpful owner.
As previous report said, no shops or pubs close by but we did find a nice hotel/restaurant, The Bodkin House Hotel, just up Horton Road a couple of miles and then turn left at a T junction onto the main road.

A wonderful little CL with great views in rolling countryside.
Situated in a small village approx 10 min from the M4 motorway.
Site is next to an impressive thatch farm house. There are 2 toilet/shower units which were in good order.
Site is quite level, with plenty of hook ups. Not much in way of shops or pubs in the immediate vicinity, but this didn't bother me. Ideal for walkers. Would definitely return
