Shocking!
Pitch-long unkempt grass with brambles
Facilities block-single unisex portacabin no lock on the door not cleaned for 72 hours plus more probably as we left.
Swimming pool-cloudy with planks of wood at the bottom. Advertised as heated but its clearly not, changing facilities look like they have not been used for years. We drove to Welshpool 30 mins away to go swimming as we had promised the children also so that we could shower!
On site entertainment and bar-no drinks on pumps so had to pay £2. 50 for a can of Carling from a multipack!
Spoke to Daniel about cleaning the toilets, replacing loo roll and a lock for the door but he doesn't seem interested in the touring site at all.
£40 per night?? We feel we should have been paid £40 per night to stay there!
To think that glamping lodges are advertised on Hoeseasons for this site!

Love the peace and tranquillity of this park. Having a static is the best thing we ever did as a family. The site is located about 30 minutes past Welshpool.
There are facilities on site and a local shop about 1 mile away and the Cann Office pub does great food. It’s about a two mile walk along a quite road to the pub so the dog loves going there too!
We are only about a 40 minute drive to the beach and a short distance to some amazing walks around Snowdonia national park.
The waterfalls are unbelievable to see and just a short drive away too. We love going into Welshpool and visiting Charlie’s garden centre and store.
The facilities at the twin rivers park are great. My husband loves fishing so having the river meet at the end of the park gives a great place to fish. The private dog park is good so no dogs ever roaming off the lead. Hopefully the club house will be open after this lock down ends too.
Everyone is really friendly on the site so it comes highly recommended by our family and we are grateful to have this peaceful haven to escape to.

We stayed at this site for 3 nights at the end of July with our grandchildren I booked this site because of the swimming pool but unfortunately it was out of order no chemicals and no heating they said it would be repaired in the next two days but I think we were being fobbed off you would have the Pool open for the kids holidays. The residential part of the site was well looked after but the touring pitches were overgrown with weeds and nettles and rocky pitches for your awning the toilets were not locked therefore the children were playing in them hide and seek. While we were there my grandsons scooter went missing and was found outside reception when we were leaving. The owners obviously concentrate on the caravan park not the touring pitches. I would not use this site again

Stayed for a week in August, staff friendly and helpful. Swimming pool clean although it would have been nice to have been open a little earlier in the day. Site fine, but shower and toilet block does need refurbishing. Will be going back again.

I was rather concerned with the previous comment, however I decided to take my tourer here as it was a convenient location for me.
There is work being done building on site. A new toilet facilities by the club house. Also a new changing facilities by the swimming pool (outdoor heated)
Very good location. Central. Clean. Well kept. Easy to book in.
Rates where as I expected compared to other sites I had looked at.
I would recommend maybe having a little shop on site for milk papers a few basics etc.
Friendly staff on site in club and reception.
We found this a very relaxing week.

This site is a rip off! Paid £200 for 8 days off season. The surrounding area is stunning but not worth £200! The site toilets were not checked or cleaned during our stay, toilet rolls ran out on second day and were not replaced and the bin which was over flowing on first day was still over flowing on last day! The shower (1 only for whole campsite) cost £1 per time. The clubhouse was open for one night only and not again. Found out club is run by a static caravan owner so if they are not there for a holiday/weekend the club doesn't open! There was no TV signal and our ariel was ripped off the side of our caravan by someone from the site cutting the grass at the side of us and just left lying there, no apology given. The satalite dish at the end of our touring pitch was damaged and not working, looking at another review this could have been the same for last 4 years! There is no shop on site and nearest shops are 14 miles away. Swimming pool was closed due to damage and had been like that for some time! I realise it was an out of season stay but the facilities did not reflect the overall cost. Complete rip off and probably better sites cheaper in same area.

Having read some of the previous negative reviews regarding this loveley site, I can only assume they are/were at best someones idea of a childish slur campaign.
My family and I stayed at this site in July and would not hesitate to recommend it. The owner, and receptionist were both very friendly, and well in formed when it came to local knowledge, and places to visit near by. The site was immaculate, as was the static home we stayed in. The other folks on site, all seemed very pleasant, and were indeed very friendly and helpful.
The outdoor pool was an absolute godsend when it came to entertaining our 2 kids, who loved it, as much as we did.
Our family will definitely be re-booking again for this year, and look forward to meeting some of the friends we made on site during our last stay.
My family would definitely recommend this site to any family looking for a relaxed, peaceful, break away.

Pitched here on a hard standing on what I learnt are usually used for the seasonal pitches. There are only about 15 pitches for tourers. All of the others at the time seemed to be seasonal.
The facilities for touring caravans are poor. It comprises a 'shed' as a toilet block which contains 2 tiny toilet cubicles, and one sink for handwashing only. There are no facilities for dishwashing.
The shower is next to the site office which is far away from the pitches. It comprises a room which had 1 washing machine and doors into 2 showers. No male or female ! No where to change other than in the shower cubicle which was dark. One shower wasn't working. You have to pay for the shower and it didn't last long at all. The facilities were locked after about 4.30. Useless if you do want to use the washing machine after a day out. Basically this is a static site - and they don't need facilities as they have them in their caravans !
There was no shop on site although, the bar sold ice lollies. It isnt open all the time though. The site is at least 45 - 60 minutes drive to a shop (there is a petrol station 20 minutes away selling basics). Swimming pool was nice although again it closed early - 5 I think. So if youve been out, its closed when you get back.
You are not allowed to drive your car to your caravan which is a real pain when you're unpacking and packing to go home. I think this is because the field the caravans are open is the supposed 'mini golf'. Holes in the ground !
This site is in a beautiful location, but make the most of it, that's all there is. Oh, the pitch had a cable for satellite tv, but it didn't work when we were there.
There was a sign up in the toilet advising that they had been found dirty and if it wasn't kept clean the facilities would be lost ! And a sign on the notice board stating if children were seen riding bikes without a helmet their bike would be taken off them until the end of the summer. The bowling green has a sign no children allowed.
