We stayed here for six nights having read earlier reviews.
The campsite is well laid out, with hedged sections with four to eight pitches on each section. Cars are parked separately, which cuts down noise and makes for a very pleasant atmosphere.
The shower/toilet/wash blocks are modern, clean and there didn't seem to be any queues.
The pool is not large and more aimed at children with a shallower pool for tiny children. There is a large play area in front of the cafe which is modern and has lots of activity areas.
The site is about ten minutes bike ride from the nearest section of the long sandy beach that run for several miles.
The site has a well stocked shop open mornings only in low season.
In the village are several restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and a good supermarket.
Not the cheapest at about £22. 50 for two adults per night inc hook up in September, but still fair value for a very well run and comfortable site.

There isn't really more that can be said that Noodle hasn't already. Still as good this year.
Toilet facilities were immaculately clean. We encountered the same type of modular toilets at another campsite, however, these appeared to be the 'deluxe' version, and it showed. Pool was relatively small I thought, though with most people staying outside, it was never really busy. But this could also be attributed to the end of season time that we went. Outside there was a a splash pad and water play area, which our daughter loved. She also took to the indoor play area, and the many outdoor play parks dotted around the site.
Everything is reachable on bikes, but with c1000 and Albert Heijn max 15 minutes away, you are spoilt for choice. If limited to the site, the on-site shop is more than adequate, with fairly reasonable prices.
There is also plenty to do in the surrounding area. We visited Het Arsenaal, Neeltje Jans and Zep at Middelburg. Zep is the only one I would not recommend. Dombourg is also a pretty town to visit.
All in all, we had a very good holiday here, and would be happy to recommend this to anyone else.

We visited De Pekelinge for eight nights with our three children (11, 10, 7). The campsite is located on the island of Walcheren in the Dutch province of Zeeland, close to a village and beautiful beaches.
We really enjoyed our stay here - it was quite possibly the best site we'd ever been to! The site is large but due to the way caravan pitches are arranged - usually in hedged-in groups of 4 - 8, with a playground in the centre of each field- it feels pleasant and well laid out. The site is as car free as possible, and cars are only allowed into the caravan areas on arrival and departure.
Parking areas are provided at the edges of the site, and this is also where the motorhome pitches are located. Motorhome pitches are all hedged in individually and have excellent hardstanding.
The showers and toilets were always immaculately clean and plentiful, and special washrooms and toilets are provided for children.
The campsite has a very nice indoor swimming pool complex (with a removable roof so it becomes outdoor in summer) which was kept at a pleasant temperature. The highlight of the pool area for our kids was the quite exciting water slide, in summer there's also an excellent water playground outside.
Further attractions for children include the numerous playgrounds dotted around the site, two large bouncy-castle style trampolines, large ball games areas, tennis courts, and most importantly the huge indoor play area and climbing wall.
With the on-site traffic restrictions and the consideration for cyclists in the Netherlands in general our children had a fantastic time cycling around the site on their own.
Bikes can be hired on-site for a very modest fee (Eur17.50 for one week) and will get you everywhere on the island. The network of cycle paths is outstanding and perfect when cycling with children.
The nearest beach at Oostkapelle can be reached in about 10 min by bike and is beautiful and clean. There are amenities such as a beach restaurant/ takeaway, toilets and a playground. It is a wide beach and even on a very busy and hot Easter weekend it never felt cramped.
