 The web site for this camp site is mis leading.

It appears to be a fully facilitated camp site but in fact is really only a couple of fields with portable loos instead of plumbed in toilets and portable cabins for sinks/showers etc.

The loos were not emptied while we were there and so blocked.

We were there over the V festival week-end so we didn't expect it to be quiet, but the noise of 1 large group was excessive and continued until 5am each night.

If you want to sleep, steer well clear.

 This was the first outing in my caravan and we went to white pump farm. It cost £11. 00 a night with a hook up and we absolutely loved it. Its basically a farmer's field that he parks your caravans on but there is plenty of room between caravans and its lovely and peaceful.

I spent many an hour sunbathing whilst watching the farmer tend to his land with his Alsation dog following his every move. There aren't any showers and there are no facilities for kids apart from fields and a few hide and seek spots but this suited us as we didn't have children.

The spot is between Telford and Tamworth and about an hour from alton towers. There is a pub down the road and an Indian in walking distance but if you don't want to take the car there isn't much else around.

We would definitely go back again because we had a fab week and loved our home from home!
