A quiet CL approx 1/2 mile off the main A487 mid way between Aberporth and Newquay.
There are 5 large hardstanding pitches, each with own ehu. There is a large well mown grass area behind the pitches. At the entrance to the site is a very clean and tody service area with bins, recylcing, water and a chem disposal.
All the pitches have great views and look out over the farmland and valley. You do need transport to go anywhere, so either ar of take motorhome out.
There are no showers or loos on site so you need own facilities. The owners live in the farm which is just a couple of hundred yards down the lane. Despite proximatey to main road no traffic noise at all.
Can only rate site facilies in terms of service area, for a perfect CL at £12 per night we would recommend.

We stayed at this CL site for a week with our daughter and three and a half year old granddaughter. Although it is just off a main road the site was very peaceful with a large area of grass to run around with a ball. We were lucky enough to get a pitch overlooking the farm's fields so besides being able to visit the cows, goats, chickens, ducks and donkeys, my granddaughter was also able to eat whilst watching alpacas! There was a central water and waste area together with recycling and general waste which was well kept. It was an excellent site for visiting local attractions and beaches and generally just a lovely place to rest at the end of a busy day and appreciate the lovely surroundings.

Lovely site with some lovely views across the country side, however you won't get a sunset view because it's the wrong side of the hill! The local beaches are nice and Newquay is a quaint harbour town. Facilities are decent. Well maintained lawn, very large hardstanding pitches, and nicely done service points. Donkeys, alpacas, horses and cows surround the site and are lovely! Pitches are all levels too!

This is a good and useful CL, situated about 1/2 mile from the main road, between the villages of Tanygroes and Sarnau. To find the site (going north), turn right at the sign to the Museum of Internal Fire Power (which we didn't visit). Access is good and there is plenty of room to manoeuvre. Pitches are hardstanding, on flat terraces cut into a gentle slope and are huge. There is a normal water tap even though it is non-mains water (not sure where it comes from), good recycling although the bins need to be emptied more often at busy times.
The nearest beaches at Tresaith and Aberporth are about 2 miles away and are lovely, Tresaith in particular which has a waterfall on the beach; there is no sea view from the site. You can see a long way over the surrounding countryside and there is a lot of bird life, including red kites.
Local amenities include several shops at garages; there is a good Londis and garage at Brynhoffnant, and also a pub, about 3 miles north east on the main road; the turn to Llangranog with another nice beach is here.
The nearest supermarket is Tesco at Cardigan, about 7 miles away.
When we left, we used the B road to Newcastle Emlyn which is perfectly ok, then to Carmarthen to reach the M4.
Price is £10 per night, or £60 per week which we thought was fine. You will probably have to go looking for the owners when you want to pay, they are lovely when you do meet them. Would certainly use this site again if in the area.
