A lovely quiet secluded site with just the occasional hint of distant road noise but I have to say that the birdsong drowns it out. If you want to kick a ball or let the other campers hear your music, this isn't the site for you. If you want real P&Q this is a gem. You need to be self sufficient as there are no toilets or electric but there's water and a tank to empty your toilet waste in a short walk up the drive. We only live 16 miles away so the surroundings are familiar but if you don't know the area, it's lovely. Woods, Heath, Coast, pretty and interesting villages etc.

Another one of those hide away, adults only gems which should never be over advertised for fear of attracting too much attention. Facilities include a mown paddock and wall to wall peace and quiet.
A 200yd stroll puts you in touch with a drinking water tap and the usual chemical toilet emptying facility. That's it. No toilets, showers, electricity or touch screen booking in things.
Local facilities include endless footpaths and wall to wall wildlife. Please don't go there when I am in residence!

A C.S. Located in the grounds of Potton Hall Recording Studio & Concert Hall. An absolutely 100% peaceful location, set well off the B1125 down a very long track.
Pitching area measures very approximately 50m x 60m; is level; well mown and sheltered on 3 sides. Has a water point and chemical disposal, and that’s about it! (And thersin lies its simple pleasure.)
General Notes:
- Water and chemical disposal is about 100m from pitching area.
- Cell phone signal is weak on site.
- Potton Hall website currently does not mention its C.S.
- Nearest shop is Lincolns Village Store & Post Office in Westleton.
- Gas exchange available at garage in centre of Westleton.
- Nearest supermarkets are in Southwold, Leiston or Saxmundham.
- Nearest pubs/restaurants are Crown and White Horse in Westleton or Ship in Dunwich. (At each, a two course meal will cost around £20+, and a pint £3.60+.) My choice was Westleton House Restaurant where you can take your own wine.
To sum up: A real hideaway! C.S. / C.L. Type caravanning at its very best, but you will need your own sanitation.
