The site was fine, very peaceful. This was our first trip in a motorhome and consequently we had a few teething problems due to inexperience!
On arrival we were asked if we wanted any water prior to going to our pitch.
We did not have a hose pipe to allow us to fill up. The disappointment for me was that there was no assistance from the site, just 'That's a no to water then!'. (My bad :( )
The site di have fantastic showers etc. , so it was not a problem in any other way.

Stayed 1 night in July and although facilities are basic it is a nice site. As it is a small site the lack of showers is to be expectec. Set in a field to the rear of the pub, so noise is at a minimum. Food at pub is very good and staff are very welcoming. Very good value for money

I agree with the reviewer in 2011 'this is a little gem', I booked in for one night (Good Friday) as we were going on to see my family in Swaffham for Easter. There is a 3 acre patch behind the pub with electric hook up for 5 caravans/motorhomes/tent it is only 6amp but we found it quite adequate for one night. Fresh water was readily available and the pub had an extensive menu but can't comment this time round, it is very 'open' with not much around it so was very peaceful and at Easter 2014 it was cold as we only had the small gas fire that was in the caravan from new. The pitch was level and extremely well cared for being recently mown, we had our little dog with us and don't go anywhere without the 'poo' bags as some people do. As it is a lovely grassy area people seemed to use it as a 'dog walk' but nothing was left behind. The only thing we found was that the pub was closed and locked up at 10:00pm where the toilets were, as we were only staying for one night we managed in the caravan with a thetford if staying longer check all this out first, it probably closed early with it being Bank Holiday. When we stay again we will partake in the delights of the extensive menu

This is a little gem, Peaceful site behind the pub. Peter & Mandy are a fantastic couple who go the extra mile. Arrived late & they did so much to look after us, Food is excellent & a quality pint.
We will return here. Couple tell me facilities will improve next year but despite lack facilities will return because they provided such a welcome & were so helpful in ensuring our comfort.
We found the place by chance & believe it has been taken over with new managers who are experienced in camping & caravanning as well as great hosts.
No electric but ensured we had TV channel of choice in the pub as well as best grub ever. Well done

This is a lovely little field at the rear of the pub, 5 pitches share the field with the local lawn bowling club, I found it by chance & booked for 3nights, £18 for a 2 man tent, me & my dog.
The couple who runs the pub are lovely, they serve food & the beers good, its a nice place to stop over if you fancy a bit of peace & quiet, I saw a hook up point & I used the tap behind the pub,
