Stayed here for a week visiting Bath and Bristol as well as meeting up with friends and family.
The site now has a shower and toilet which are clean and well presented. Shower needs 20p or more for a quick shower. Hook ups are plentiful and require £1 for metered supply. Both of these are more than acceptable given the very reasonable cost per night. Also good to find that there are no extra charges that many sites make for pup tent, awnings, extra adults etc.
The site itself is very well kept with lovely cut grass. Some pitches are sloping so make sure you have ramps etc. There is plenty of space so no need to be on top of another pitch.
Site probably more suited to older couples rather than families.
Can walk to pub which was very nice. Petrol station accessed via field to avoid traffic stocked some essential supplies.
Just as a small site should be!

This site was well situated for Bristol.
It is close to shops and pubs which run along the main road.
The site is a very small site with very basic facilities, It is a field behind the house with EHU facilities. It has an area for water and disposal of waste and a recycling area.
Please note this site has no toilet or shower facilities.
I was convenient and nice and quiet.
We never saw the owners so had to fill in the form located in a box by the gate, when trying to pay I knocked at the house so had to leave the money in the box by the gate.
I would return to this site because it is well situated, quiet and convenient. It would have been nice to have met the owner but It didn't put me off at all.

The site is situated along the Chippenham road and is in a good location for access in to Bristol. There is one field behind the farm house which does have a small but ugly pylon situated in it. Chickens and peacocks roam around the field, and a small stream runs adjacent to the far boundary. There is some traffic noise, but not too intrusive once inside your caravan.
Facilities are typical for a CS, with EHU's, one water point, grey water and chemical disposal, and a recycling waste disposal area.
The rate I paid was just £10 per night but electricity is slot-metered and requires £1 coins.
Access into the site was not too difficult, but due to the fact that you have drive past old farm buildings on both sides, and then dog-leg to the right to get out onto the often busy main road, it can be tricky with a twin axle van. However, I've done it twice now solo so it is possible, but I made sure I departed when the road was quiet.
There is a Park and Ride to Bath not far away, and for visits to Bath and Bristol I would certainly recommend it if you can use your own on-board facilities.
