This is a cracking site, very peaceful, with large pitches.
Water + electric being on all pitches. Electric is metered, but there is a 10 unit nightly allowance in the price. We barely used half ours. Though the weather was warm. So no heating (but no fan either).
There are no toilets or showers, so its basic needs only. And wouldn't bring kids.
The owner- Andy, is very knowledgeable about the area, and easy going. Grass round the pitches is kept short.
The site is easy to find and access from the main roads. But there is a long steep, windy and – in places – narrow hill to traverse to get down to the village of Uplyme – that has a petrol station/ shop. Or Lyme Regis, which is excellent on many levels. And has everything you may need.
Because of the hill, anything larger than a regular campervan may struggle badly in places to reach the village directly. Id advise going the 'long way' round (not that much further) to reach Uplyme /Lyme Regis.
Best pitches for the sun are near the barn, or along the wire fence, stopping short of the corner pitch.
If in the area, we would certainly return.

This CL site is tucked out of the way, about 2 miles from the nearest main road. If it is peace and tranquillity you are after then this is the site to go to. You will be unlucky to hear more than 4 or 5 cars pass.
It is not the most picturesque of sites but it is neat and tidy and there are usually a couple of horses in the adjoining field. There is no light pollution at night - so great for budding photographers!
There is electric and water to each pitch (and the pitches are large) and the usual CL amenities.
The owner comes and says hello. Never outstays his welcome and is close by for any problems.
Lyme Regis is a short drive away and there is easy access to all of the main roads.
This is the only site that we continue to return to. Enough said.
