We stayed here for eight nights and were the only English on the campsite. However the owners were very welcoming and the site itself was spotless.
The pitches were a fair size and each had a hedge around the edge to give you privacy. The pool has a slide which was a plus for the kids.
There is a bar which serves a limited menu but it is well cooked. They also do themed nights throughout the week when you can have Paella or Roasted chicken etc which is good. Fresh bread etc can be ordered from the bar for the next morning.
The area is set in vineyards and tasting sessions for the local Chateaux come to the campsite.
The coat is full of beaches for surfing which is good though can be a bit rough for small children.
It was a good holiday and would recommend it to anyone going to that area of France.

A lovely spacious and shady site. Each place is, at least, 10m x 15m and separated with beech, oak and Indian bean tree hedging.
The shower block is new, clean and has lashings of hot water. We were able to do our clothes washing in the their special sinks, without the need to use washing machine.
There is a large bar and games room which lead onto indoor and outdoor pools. An outdoor games area and a brand new water slide/chute thingy, in the process of being installed.
Bernard, the site owner, is always around, and cheerful. He will help with almost anything.
The site is well placed for the whole of the Gironde peninsular, being about 10 miles from the Atlantic coast Carcans Plage; 5 miles from Pauillac and all the poshest wines of the Medoc region. Supermarkets at Lesparre-Medoc and le Pian-Medoc.
A day trip to Bordeaux is worthwhile - drive down to Place Ravesies which is just by the A630 ring road jct 4. Take the Park & Ride scheme which is about 3 euros for the secure parking of the car and tram fares to and fro the city centre for ALL occupants of the car.
If the children want something to do, get them to count the number of vines that they can see in the area.

I thoroughly agree with the other reviewer. Bernard and his wife make you exceptionally welcome. There are often events in the bar area in the evening which are sociable, but do not go on too late. We had some teenagers next to us who were a bit noisy at night, and Bernard sorted that out without bother.
There is a vineyard across the road with delicious local wine - well worth a trip.
It looks like Bernard has built new swimming facilities since our visit - definitely worth a look.
There are some beautiful beaches on the Medoc - we liked Montalivet.
