Flat and spacious site. EHU for vans etc all along one side, needing extensions to be used (provided on-site) Easy to book and check-in.
Found it a little challenging to find the location on Sky End Lane, maybe outside signage needs to be better (only one pair of eyes - needed to keep at least one on the road)
Facilities are basic but good, clean, and well maintained.
The toilet block is not lit up so no light pollution at night (but could've helped with finding it for night sorties) - no washing-up area, sadly.
Excellent base for day trips to IOW or exploring New Forest.

Good communication with owners before arrival.
Pitches are spacious and level and the site is quiet.
Services including fresh water and cassette emptying are easily accessible.
Excellent Royal Oak pub and shops within about a mile.

Very peaceful site in a quiet setting. Everything was as expected from the website information. Good size pitches and extension cables provided to reach the electricity points.
Site well placed for the coast and inland, with plenty of eating and shopping facilities within a couple of miles.
Probably the only downside was that it was necessary to drive to the nearest shop and eating places as Hordle lane (just round the corner from the campsite) was not really safe walking.
Reasonably dark and open sky so good for observing the night sky from the camp site.
Would use again.

Lovely level site, easy to find and easy access. If you're concerned about security then look elsewhere but it's got a gate with a hook on it.
Helpful and interested owners who are caravanners themselves. £15. 00 per night with a 6 amp electricity supply (it's how it was when they purchased it a couple of years ago) and freely supplied extension leads if you are on the side of the field away from the electricity points.
Due to the current Covid pandemic the toilets were closed so can't comment on their functionality but let's be fair it's a field for the Camping and Caravanning types and modern vans have everything on board you need.
Located in the south of the Forest its easy to get to Lymington, Brockhurst and Lyndhurst; and Beaulieu and Exbury Gardens are 20 mins away, by car. If you're a cyclist or walker I'm afraid you'll have to work it out yourselves.
Overall very good value for money and would definitely visit again.

Please note, new owners so no longer adult only, also name of site has changed to Dragon fly Stables (was East Leach Certificated Site). Stay on Aug bank holiday weekend so site full ( 5 caravans/motorhomes and 10 tents) power in tents so not quiet, otherwise nice level site

This is a very small site and only accommodates 5 units, although it does have a field for DA users.
There is only one shower, one washroom and one of each ladies and gents toilets. There are electric hook ups but the electricity can be a pit 'patchy' at night, as apparently the site owner's tv went off and on with more use of electrics and the shower.
It is in a lovely setting, surrounded by tall trees and hedgerows. Lots of wildlife.
A shop is just about within walking distance. The farm shop (another long walk) was quite pricey.
Handy for the New Forest and the sea, although access is slow because of the busy roads.
