Small Quiet camp site.
Great location, close to Bowleze Cove and Ringstead Bay.
Its flat and very quiet, clean toilets and showers blocks.
Amazing walks down to the coast, close to all amenities.
We Loved the goats!
We spent 3 nights here, playing games having BBQ's, chilling and watching the sun and rise again,
Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

Perfect spot for walks along the Jurassic Coast clifftops. We were lucky to have beautiful weather.
Views from the campsite and nearby are spectacular.
Facilities offered everything we needed, especially the showers with no time limit.
Only one query:- very soft flooring in the gents area between the joists. Strange, but didn't affect a lovely two nights there.

Having stayed 3 nights near Wareham we booked a couple more nights near Weymouth to extend our break. This site is relatively small which makes it nice and peaceful.
Osmington is a pretty village just a few miles out of Weymouth but ideally located for exploring the Jurassic coast. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are a short drive away.
On arrival I called the site owner to be given our pitch number. We were on the far edge which backs on to a field of horses. Beautiful views extend beyond the fields and you can even see the Osmington White Horse figure carved into the distant hillside.
Sadly no sea view from here but it's a short walk down to the South West coastal path. The camping field is a slight slope which probably helps with drainage. We don't use levelling blocks but the slope was barely noticable really. Had a nice chat with the neighbours while I was hooking the 'van up. That just sums up the relaxed atmosphere of a place like this.
The toilet/shower block is immaculately clean! Honestly, probably the cleanest facilities I've ever seen at a campsite. The gents side consists of two toilet cubicles each with their own mirror and sinks etc. And two shower cubicles. Water was always hot and the showers were like home showers with actual on/off dials instead of push button style. Excellent facilities. There's also the usual waste disposal points and separate drinking water points too.
Osmington no longer has a village pub but the Smuggler's Inn is about 30-40 minutes walk along the coast path. Takes a little bit of navigating but it's a nice, bustling pub. Pretty expensive, if I'm honest. There are no doubt cheaper options a short drive away.
We visited Lulworth and Durdle on one day then had a walk in to Weymouth on the last day of our holiday. The weather was warm but windy. The coastal path is lovely and it took about an hour and half to get to the main centre of Weymouth. Weymouth has a bit of everything.
Traditional seaside arcades, the usual cheesy shops, but there's also the quaint marina on the other side of the river and some brilliant cafes and pubs. We had a look around Nothe Fort overlooking the harbour before sampling a few pubs in the town centre.
If you ignore the busy marina pubs there are some real gems in the town, like The Globe Inn. Proper ale and a friendly welcome. Chatted to several people in here. Very easy to get a taxi back to the site at the end of the evening too.
Highly recommended area to visit and would definitely return to Osmington Hill Farm campsite for the peace and quiet!

This is a first class dog friendly campsite.
It is only a small site with a few pitches which makes it very quiet.
The shower and toilet facilities are immaculate.
It is ideally situated for exploring this part of Dorset and there are lots of interesting pubs and restaurants within a couple of miles of the site.
A short walk from the site there is an incredible view of Portland Bill and Weymouth Bay.

Stayed for 2 nights, for a short stay site - brilliant, that said we would have no problems staying for a couple of weeks, very quiet, very convenient to weymouth, owner very friendly and helpful, showers toilets - spotless.
A basic little site but maintained to high standard.
On our list of favourites 5 stars for us

We had a lovely stay in Dorset with our friends staying at Osmington Hill Farm.
The field has a slight slope but as we stayed at the bottom it wasn't a problem the plot got a bit boggy as it rained a few days, but the weather you can't do anything about. Always a breeze so on hot days that coud be lovely.
We saw Wendy the owner when we arrived to tell us about the facilities and collect her site money and that was it really I'm sure they were available if we needed something.
The toilet block was perfect so clean and maintained well I believe they new this year.
What spoilt it for us was that it is close to the main road so we did complain to ourselves about the road noise.
The entrance to the site is a bit sharp off the main road but didn't cause any concerns
The walking distance pub has now closed so that was disappointing.
The holiday was lovely but for us not the location.

Great site, ideally situated to reach Weymouth and surrounding areas.
This site is all grass, and pitches are very big with plenty of room between you which is great as it allows you to pitch which ever way you like. It is on a hill so there was a light wind blowing whilst we were there which made putting awning up a bit difficult, but with the help of other caravaners we managed it. (It was a new awning so we were trying to read the instructions too)
As this was booked during Covid 19, none of the facilities were open and Wendy the owner reduced rates accordingly which was great.
We text when we were on our way and Wendy text back our pitch number promptly. We arrived and pitched with no issues at all.
All in all we had a lovely stay, and would definitely return.
The pub in walking distance was closed during our stay but we drove down to the Springhead which was a 5 min drive and is in a beautiful setting and gorgeous meals, would recommend this pub. The dairy down in Osmington is a must, their products are delicious, we had ice cream form there and hasten to say did not last long 😂.

Quiet site, difficult entrance and exit especially with caravan.
Sloping field, difficult to take dog for walk as pathway overgrown. Not overly friendly owner ( lady )
Toilet shut due to Corona virus.
Would not visit this site again.
