This is a working farm. But the family still have plenty of time for you.
Very welcoming. Always with a smile. Including the dog. Good price as well.
I would have no hesitation in returning to this campsite. You are right on the edge of so many wonderful moorland and coastal sights.

If you think a rural CL will be just a field with minimal facilities think again. With an easy approach directly off the A399, extensive views and facilities as good as a larger commercial site, Westland Farm is an excellent place to stop. Best of all was the friendly welcome, especially for our 5-year old grandson, who loved seeing all the animals and tractors - yes this really is a working farm. We only spent a couple of nights there, but I'm sure we'd have found plenty to do for a longer stay without going very far afield. Highly recommended.

We stayed for the bank holiday weekend for our friend's wedding, with the celebrations being on site.
The caravan pitch is superbly level with frequent water taps and electric points. It is at the top of the farm (for ease of access) so near to the road, although there are shrubs and hedges blocking this off. The toilet block is down a few steps, and has been excellently furbished - with large shower cubicles and unlimited hot water.
Past the chickens you get to the camping fields, which have stunning views across the valley. Our friends had hired the yurt and shepherds hut. The yurt was roomy with 3 double beds inside it.
The owners were so friendly and helpful, inviting our daughters to help hand feed some lambs which the girls were delighted in. There is no shop on site, but this is balanced by the sheer beauty of the area. We would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone.
