Just returned from 4 days at the farm and loved every day there and will be returning as soon as possible, From the warm friendly welcome as soon as I arrived to the continous friendly chat throughout my stay. Helpful where needed but the stunning views are what made it so special. Its a working farm and I love that
Now this is a farm so don't forget that when you book but if you are wantiing peace and quiet with lovely stunning views then this is for you
The facilities are basic but meet my requirements perfectly they are clean and when I did ask for paper rolls two where suppied for me
Not a busy weekend so no problems
The animals are frienly and I loved seeng the live stock it really nice to see as I am from a city
We didn't need telling to return any time as its on my list of campsites to visit again
Dont take my word for it go and see for yourself

We stayed at this site for a week,
This is a Camping and Caravanning Club members only site.
Its close to Pickering for the shops if you need anything (six miles away).
We had electric hook up. When the electric was on that was on, As the farm has no mains electric, everything is run off a generator which is switched off over night and some times goes off during the day. If there is someone on the farm to start it again it comes back on straight away, other wise you have to wait for someone to come back before it goes on again.
It has a toilet and shower block, But they could be cleaned out more often, they were not cleaned once, all the time we stayed, Also we had to take our own toilet roll to the toilets as there was none in there all week.
The site is really quiet and has a lovely view when the weather's nice.
The North Yorkshire moors railway is close by which we spent a fantastic day visiting.
Horcam hole is about half a mile up the road.
Your only about 50 miles from whitby which is a great place to visit.
Your only about 8 miles from Goathland where the tv show Heartbeat was filmed.
The kids loved the farm dog that wonders around the site.
We would probably not stay again, mainly due to the electric going off.
Out off 10 we would give the site 6.

We have just got back from this hidden gem of a site.
The site consists of 3 medium sized fields bordered by hedges, we had one of the fields to ourselves although we only shared the whole site with a couple of units.
A typical CS, basic but with amenities. If you are after a 'get away from it all' holiday, I would highly recommend this site.
The farm has a lovely friendly labrador, he seemed to come round every day meeting and greeting the campers, my girls loved him.
The farm is just off a main 'a' road, ideally located for visiting Scarborough, Whitby, and the other Yorkshire seaside towns. We travelled up to Saltburn and found a lovely beach.
I would visit this site again, lovely views and great value.
