This is a fantastic campsite. It is huge and the pitches are really well spaced. You can stay dotted around under the trees or nearer to the facilities.

It has the feeling of wild camping but with all the facilities that you need. The restaurant, takeaway, shop and reception area are great with a handy communal barbecue. It also has a good pool, children's play area, boules area and good tennis courts.

George and Virginie are friendly and helpful and there is a huge amount to do in the stunning surrounding area.

We had an amazing holiday here and enjoyed the site and many activities such as canoeing, canyoning, climbing, rivers and grottos. Its a real gem - don't miss it!

We stayed here for a week in 'The Nest' it is an amazing place to stay.

The campsite is huge with only around 50 pitches. You can choose where you want to stay and the pitches are all spread out in various locations.

The site has a lovely pool, boules area. Shared BBQ and it also has a lovely restaurant which serves amazing pizza.

George and Virginie were very friendly and helpful hosts.

And the area all around is amazing with lots of wild swimming areas and some stunning places to see, the night sky is the most amazing spectacle I have ever seen and is something to treasure.

We will be back

For a treat we rented one of their log cabins - number 57.

Quite simply we had a fantastic stay and loved everything about this site.

It is very spacious in a totally unspoilt enviroment. No road noise whatsoever, with the constant buzz of nature (crickets, flies etc. ).

There was a pool which whilst unheated was throroughly enoyed by our two kids (five and seven).

There is a lot to do locally but to be honest, we didn't leave the site much as the kids were having so much fun.

As mentioned it is a BIG site with plenty of space to wander. We took the kids bikes with us and they were the envy of all the other children on the site that didn't have bikes. Definitely recommended if you can fit them in.

The chalet we stayed in was very comfortable, well equipped with lovely toilet and showers. As such we didn't use the communal facilities at all.

One of my favourite past times was looking at the night sky which was simply amazing.

George, Virginie and their family couldn't have been more helpful.

All in all a fantastic stay, highly recommended and we will be back.

Amazing value.

Wow! If you want to relax on a large (20ha) site with only 50 pitches this is for you. The site is a huge 'field' about a third of which is tree cover. There is a choice of full sun through to full shade in the trees which is great given the heat.

The ground is pretty stony so take some decent pegs alternatively you could rent one of the gites, yurts, tipis, etc. Which are around the edges of the site. The whole site is based around an old Templar site, the restaurant (closed on Mondays) is in one of the old buildings which is incredible although on warmer nights sitting outside is best.

The reception includes a small shop, useful as the nearest other shop is about 5km away, stocks the basics and you order in an advance bread, croissants, etc.

There is a large mixed block for toilets and showers and includes facilities for the disabled and large family shower cubicles, not super modern but is fit for purpose. It also includes washing up sinks. Another old building includes a couple of table tennis tables, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

There is a boules area, two kids play areas and an unheated swimming pool, with an adjacent toddler's paddling pool, which was lovely and refreshing during the hot days as well as a couple of tennis, volleyball and badminton courts.

The owners speak fluent English (well George is Scottish) as well as French and will help organise trips, etc. In the area. The clientèle is approximately 50% Dutch, 30% British and 20% French but everyone was lovely enjoying a relaxing break. There are two communal BBQ areas (no open fires) as well picnic tables to eat take out pizza, rotisserie chicken and chips or your own food.

There's plenty to do in the area; canoeing/rafting down the Tarn, lots of walking, climbing and caves, etc. To visit. Everyone was really helpful but not too 'in your face. ' We all loved it and my children can't wait to go back!
