Site was quiet and we were on a hardstanding due to grass being waterlogged, if the site was full it would be cramped and if you were next to the pond it may be uncomfortable on a hot day,
Showers cost £1 for 8 minutes not long enough for a lady to wash hair and if some one fills up water barrel the water stops only one toilet and that was in with shower so if shower in use. No toilet
Parking limited
Easy reach to local towns and sea front cant comment on pubs etc as we didn't use any.

This peaceful site us located 1 1/2 miles down a B road past Snape Maltings. Fortunately there are plenty of passing places and considerate tractor drivers.
The pitches are set around a small pond and large willow tree. They are spacious and divided by short half round fence sections.
Water taps a few paces away and EHU boxes every 2 pitches. Modern shower (£1) is combined with toilet. Campers have to provide their own toiletries and paper due to Covid. Toilet/ shower is tiled so no mouldy shower curtain here.
Very nice spot with very little noise to disturb you.
Adults only.

This little site is a cracker, nice and quiet, all you need for a few or a lot of days.
We used Tumbleweed as a base as we are keen photographers we could go out and about and come back in the evening for food and rest,
Electric, water and peace and quiet with toilets and shower all on site as well.

Just spent three lovely nights on this CL. The site is immaculate, the facilities spotless and the location is fabulous for exploring.
Only a 10 minute walk to the footpath which takes you right around the estuary to Snape Maltings, idyllic and wonderful for walkers and birdwatchers.
During our stay we visited Snape Maltings, Woodbridge and the ever evolving Sutton Hoo - all so easy to get to from Tumbleweed.
Good value for money - we will be back thankyou.

Probably to best site we have been to. A lovely garden setting with really large site spaces. Owners very friendly and excellent, spotlessly clean facilities.
Electric only 6 amp but no trouble using what we did. Perhaps in the cold weather when the heating is on it may cause a hiccup. Just booked our second visit which is rare for us as we like a different site every time we go out.
Just a short journey to places to visit. Lack of a shop nearby means you must be organised but it is no problem.

Fabulous, fabulous little site! A real gem.
The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful and happy to share their beautiful garden with us campers. The site is immaculate, the toilet facilities are probably the best I have ever seen on a cl. Pitches are spacious, and fairly private.
Nearby is Snape Maltings and Orford Quay, both interesting little places with Woodbridge just a few miles away for your shopping.
I really cannot fault this site.

Although the site was officially closed when the owner spotted us he came over and said we were welcome to stay and he would open the showers and put on electric for us.
Lovely quiet sheltered site with duck pond and chickens and ducks wandering around - eggs available.
Very friendly chatty proprietors, clean modern facilities and we would definitely go back. Ate at the Jolly Sailor in Orford. Made very welcome and excellent food.

Great welcome from Christine proprietor. Lots of Room to park. Lovely shower and toilet facilities. Hens on site, so fresh eggs sold.
Adults only but well behave dogs welcome. Good walking nearby and Snape Maltings about 3 miles away. Where a nice pub, shops, and boat trips are available.
The site is very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend for people looking for a quite site in beautiful Suffolk at £10 per night.

Visited twice this year. Very pleasant, quiet, site with clean, modern, toilet/shower facilities. Owner, Christine, couldn't be more helpful. EHU is 6amp only but we never found it a problem.
The on site chickens' eggs are great and usually plenty of them.
Plenty to see and do nearby: e gAldeburgh, Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo and Snape Maltings. Terrain is relatively flat so good walks to be enjoyed. Several good pubs fairly close: two in Snape but we use the Jolly Sailor in Orford for great ale, food and atmosphere.
The Orford smokeries are a must and a Waitrose supermarket in Saxmundham is just a short drive. Highly recommended site.
