 Just 6 km outside the town of Brezno, campsite is well off the road at least a km so no noise at all.
The site is owned by a Dutch family and based behind their family home and B&B. Pitches are on firm grass all with ehu. There are two toilets / showers which are clean, warm and good water pressure - however a new block is just being finished and will give more facilities. There is a campers kitchen type area which is in the house, oven, fridge etc. Etc also fresh farm eggs for sale.
Wifi is free and a good signal, there is a bus service into town from the bottom of the lane or a taxi is just €6. In the village at the botton of the lane is a small shop selling essentials.
From the site there are plenty of walks, for many you can take a walk route with photos from the information hut. Its just 10-15 minutes to drive into the Low Tatras mountains and the ski resorts and mountain walks.
Dion and Monique are wonderful hosts, speak fluent English and we found them more than willing to help when we had a van problem.
Really isnt anything not to like about this site, we paid €17 per night all in and would go back again for sure.
