Looks a nice quiet site within walking distance of Wilderswil station. Thus, convenient for various train trips. However, despite an advertised closing date of 14th October 2016, it was closed when we arrived on 26th September. All roadside signs for the site had been removed.
Lesson learnt - always check towards the end of the season. That is, if you can find out the correct office hours!

I actually grew up in the region of Interlaken. Just by 'accident' I noticed the review of Kitkat2279.
So I decided to go to this Campsite instead of the one close to Interlaken Ost Station. This was a wise decision!
I can fully agree to what Kitkat2279 wrote!
I staid five nights and like to add the following:
- The shower cost. 50 Franc and lasts 4 minutes. Yes you can press 'stop', but this does not interrupt the counter for the 4 minutes. Anyway: with the 4 minutes I always had more than enough time to take my shower.
- As Kitkat2279 wrote, the Camping is in walking distance to the railway station.
- Important to know: you will get a visitor's card when signing in, which allows free travelling by all modes of transport in the immediate surroundings of Interlaken during your stay
- The cost per night on this Camping is substantially cheaper than the one I previously used near Interlaken Ost
All in all the Camping Oberei was a good choice and I will certainly go there again

Just got back from a lovely 11 night stay on this campsite. It is family run by Mother and Daughter.
The pitches are quite spacious majority on the flat but as we found not all of them we were pitched on quite a slant but could have changed if we had wanted to, nothing is to much trouble.
Some pitches offer the breathtaking view of the mountains, Monch and Jungfrau.
They have a guy called Joe who helps you set up if needed more so with motor homes helping them on to blocks to stay level.
The site is not very big but at a guess could fit up to 30 units an at approx £11 per person per night it makes it a more attractive site to stay on.
There is a little shop that opens twice a day from 07:30 - 10:30 and 16:30 - 19:30 but the owners live on site so if you needed anything out of these hours just knock on the door and Kathrin will sort you out. They can also order you in fresh bread and milk every morning but this has to ordered the day before. For a little shop it is very well stocked with the essentials and is much cheaper than the supermarkets.
From this shop you can also book trips and purchase you swiss passes there is a list of prices on most of the trips and all the information about local attractions and events.
The toilet block is lovely and clean, tiled from floor to ceiling, showers are unisex and cost 1 franc to use and last about 3 mins before you need to put more money in. But the shower does have an on/off
Switch that if you press will stop the shower shampoo your hair then press on again it lasts without you having to put any extra money in. I never put more that 1 franc in and occasionally got free showers as people did not use all there time.
Male and female toilets are separate but in the same block they do not have any hand dryers or soap which means every time you need the loo you have to take your wash bag with you.
They have a hair dryer but the site has electric so everyone we met had bought their own.
The washing up facilities are very good and we never had to wait for a sink, you can also wash your clothes for 4 francs and tumble dry.
They allow pets although charge you 2 francs a day.
This site is within walking distance to all Swiss transport and shops with a few hotels dotted around to have a meal or a drink.
All in all this site was perfect we had a most enjoyable time and will be visiting again the weather was a mixed bag but still better than UK.
