We have just returned (30th July 2016) from Hazelbrook. We hired two static caravans for a week.
Really great holiday was had by all -3 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs.
Everyone at the site was friendly and welcoming, the caravans were very clean and comfortable and the site is very well placed for lots of attractions. The children were thrilled with Manor Wildlife Park, which is minutes way by car, and the adults loved Carew Castle. There is so much to do and see.
We will be back!
Ps: I have given 10/10 for facilities because we do not like noisy clubs. There is a shop and a nice games room which was great for the kids.

Stayed her quite a few times over the years although haven't been for 3yrs due to work commitments. Each time I've phoned the lady always fixed me up with a hardstanding somewhere on the site with elec hookup. I was really surprised this time to find a new shower block in the middle of the site. There's the biggest boot sale in Wales over the road & a pub in walking distance. I think there's a bus to tenby outside the gate but I don't think it's a reliable service. (i always tow a car to see the area & go shopping)I paid £19 p/n for my pitch which I think it's average/fair compared to some of the sites in the area. There's a bit of a kids play area as far as I remember & a field on the way in for a ball kick about. It could be a stopover on the way to the ferry at Pembroke dock.

Stayed earlier this year (March) in a lovely clean van and booked it again for August.
Unfortunately when we arrived we were told there had been a mix-up and the van we had booked had already been let. We were shown a replacement which was dirty and smelled of pets. We were not very happy and it was made worse by the fact that the owner clearly couldn't care less. She just shrugged her shoulders and said we could have our deposit back. We spent a frantic couple of hours looking for somewhere else to stay that night with a 6 month old baby in the car after a journey of 4 hours.
The site itself is nice and a good location. It was also quite cheap.
We may well have decided to go there again but obviously had difficulty getting on with the owner. I didn't think we were being overly fussy but never-mind, we found another site and all was well!

Very nice and peaceful campsite although not one for people without a car (unless you like to walk a lot) as the nearest town etc. Is a good 5 - 10 minutes drive.
Pitch was good, far from toilets and on a slope but apart from that very nice area.
The showers and toilet facilities were free but one set was worse than the other.
On site shop very useful and had very friendly staff and the games room was something to do on a wet evening but nothing exceptional.
We recommend this campsite very strongly and if you have kids suggest a visit to the nearby crystal maze.
