 Our sat nav packed up which added to the fun of finding this site but when we did get there. Lovely views of glacier and mountains, peaceful site with mature, terraced, hedge screened pitches meaning it didn't feel anything like the 100 odd spaces it really is.
Loo blocks didn't look great on first drive past but there are sit down loos as well as the flush and run type and the showers were great. You do need your own loo roll and hot water is only at the main block not the secondary so dish washing is easier if carried down. Oh, we found the washing machine too late but there is one. No freezer pack refreeze option - well if there us I never found that. Also bread/mini Market finished the day before we got there (we arrived 18 aug) so worth a stock up at Super you in les houches.
Downsides ? The wider area was pretty heaving although you didn't feel that on site. Ongoing hum from the main road but to be honest not a big deal. Also, should be said there is major construction work - avalanch defence system we were told - so during the day there was something akin to quarrying noise. Again, not a disaster, but not hugely peaceful if you want to stay put for the day.
No playground on site but lots of space in the area to explore - we walked up les bossons glacier and gorges de la diosaz with 7 and 9 year old kids. Dad and 9 year old went canyoning which the latter pronounced the 'best day of my life' !
