Chosen because it is right by the side of the lake we stopped here for a couple of nights. It is a sprawling site with individual pitches of differing sizes in terraces running down the hill with power to all and water close by. There are a lot of trees giving much shade or dripping water should it rain. Which it did! The lower pitches give the better views across the lake and there are direct paths down to the beaches close by and yet the whole site feels a little tired. The owners have invested in a really nice pool area but the toilets and showers could do with the same treatment. At the time we stayed, the restaurant and cafe were closed but we could order bread from reception for the following morning.
