I concur with the first reviewers comments…. A secluded site at the back of the old vicarage, this is a great spot for a quiet stay. We were met by Keith who was most welcoming, despite our arriving unannounced (Phone problems) and after dark. A large, long field, bounded by trees offered plenty of room and freedom of choice, with no marked pitches. Basic facilities include a toilet hut near the house and a standpipe in the corner of the field, but perfectly adequate if you can do your own washing up.
A short walk takes you to the Hope and Anchor, where the real ale was excellent. We did not eat there, though this pub has a good reputation. The site is a good starting point for walks along the river bank, armed with camera/bins as there are many birds to identify. (There is an RSPB reserve on the south bank. )
Perhaps because we visited in term time, there was only one other camper on site. Our stay was as tranquil and peaceful as you could wish for. Now £8 per day. (Incl. 2 people + dog)

Spent a great weekend at Trinity, we were the only ones there so had the site to ourselves. It is a basic site in a large, well maintained, flat field at the rear of the church. There are toilets which are in a portable cabin, a CDP and a water tap. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable on the local area.
The site is best approached via Gilberdyke due to the narrow roads. It cost £7 per night for 2 adults and a dog.
There is a pub in Blacktoft which serves good food and has great views over the river Ouse. It is very popular for Sunday lunch so booking may be necessary. There is also a small cafe/book stall/information stand in Village Hall.
There are great walks along the river which is part of the Trans Pennine Trail. There is also a bridle way at the end of the camping field which is handy for exercising dogs off the lead.
The surrounding area is very flat and the local roads are quiet so it's an ideal place for cycling.
There are a number of shops/pubs/takeaways in the area, the nearest being at Gilberdyke and Newport. There is a bus stop in village with buses going to Goole or South Cave.
The site is close to Humber Bridge and is ideal if visiting The Deep in Hull.
We had a fantastic weekend at Trinity and will definitely return in the future.
