This is an unusual touring site, located within a small static site right next to Lawrenny Quay. There are 6 or so hook ups for use by seasonals, caravans, camper vans or tents. The showers which have nice hot water & toilets are accessible by code and are clean & tidy.
The site is next to the Yacht club also close by is The Lawrenny Arms which was open all day from 11am really friendly and serving nice pub food. The Quayside tea room is on the quay serving lovely lunches teas or coffees 11-5 during the summer months.
We enjoyed our time in this part of Wales, we had a couple of walks through the ancient oak woodlands which were easily accessible.
The village of Lawrenny is about a mile away where there is a community shop and post office which stocks basic foods plus fresh local produce, toys, games, bread, cakes, as well as tourist goods, a few clothes, second hand books as well as hot & cold drinks and ice-cream. A really friendly community.

3 families each with 2 children, consisting of 2 folding campers and one VW campervan
Basic site, £10 per night or £12 with EHU. Mainly a site for statics all privately owned, but not a big / noisy / all singing site
With a small grassed area for tents, and a hard standing area for caravans / campers, we couldn't put up our awning, but wasn't a problem as weather was so good)
Clean shower / toilet block , 4 toilets and 1 shower per sex, which you need a code for
Showers are £1 per token for 7 minutes, tokens and code obtained from the Quay marine shop
Socket for hair dryer etc
Nothing for children in the way of a play area etc, but they spent ages in the woods making dens etc, and found a rope swing in the trees
Lawrenny has a lovely pub and cafe bar, serving gorgeous food especially the local crab yummy!
Ideal site for launching your kayak / boat etc and for crabbing / fishing
Lovely walks from the Quay into the woods and along the beach, up into the village and back.
Lawrenny has it's own website with details of the pub / cafe / walks etc
Creswell Quay is also lovely and has a pub too
We will definitely be returning to this site
