A lovely little site. Well worth a visit. A good mix of nationalities and people ranging from a single lady on her bike to families and couples with tents to people with their campervan and caravans. Some pitches were separated by hedges but some were fairly open. The bakers van makes a visit each morning, a real bonus as the village is quite a distance away, down a very steep hill!
The toilet block was quite small, only two showers and toilets for the ladies but very clean. There is a tiny toddler play area and that's about it!Perfect for getting away from it all.
We paid about 13 Euro's per night for a pitch for 2 adults, 2 children, 1 tent and no electric.
The site is really close to the Citadel of Montmedy which is worth a look. You can walk the walls of the Citadel and then look around the village and museum in the centre. The site is close to the border with Belgium and it is possible to have a day trip to Luxembourg.
The town of Montmedy is quite small but it has a tea shop and pizza restaurant. Further out of the centre is a supermarket.

Spent a week on this pleasant site, lovely & quiet. Good sized hedged pitches with 5/10 amp electric hook-ups. Mainly used as a transit site, but plenty of attractions in the area.
Verdun is a 1/2 hr. Drive with it`s WW1 sites & also river trips on the Meuse. Luxembourg is also worth a visit.
On site are adequate toilet/shower/washing facilities. Supermarkets/bars/post office in the town which is at the bottom of the (steep)hill.
We would definitely visit again, either for a few days, or as a stopover.

Easy access from the D643/E44 from the North, if travelling from the South, stay on D643/E44 through town and after steep hill left turn at top before sharp right. Good sized hedged pitches with 5 Amp or 10 Amp electric points. We arrived in the afternoon and pitched ourselves, plenty of choice as only a few caravans and tents using the site. We found the electric had tripped during the night after a delapitated french campervan hooked up to the same bollard as us, warden reset trip when I told her in the morning. Warden called morning and evening. Toilets and showers were adequate and clean. We walked into town for a drink and it was quite steep downward, steeper coming back. Good overnighter, which I have used before and will again when in the area needing a convenient stop.
