We visited this site all very last minute. We stayed with friends who have a folding camper. They camped one side of the sunny field and we the other to make the most of the morning and evening sun.
There were a few others staying but they stayed close to the pub car park. There are no facilities at all apart from the pub loos but we only stayed one night so this was fine.
We ate in the pub which was excellent, most of us had pies and the sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous. The pub could do with a make over as it very dull and dark inside and quite dated.
We would definitely go back again as it was so close and the children could run about with no-one to bother them
They have geese at the far end of the field and thought they may disturb us but they didn't bother us at all.

The owners lovely and very friendly and welcoming. It is well placed behind the lovely country pub the Six Bells. We can thoroughly recommend the home cooked fresh food excellent and good value for money we will definitely come back with our friends.

We have just come back from The Six Bells at Preston St Mary and would like to say what really lovely people George & Vanessa are, and if you want a quiet site then go here. We will most definitely be going back. Ideal for those who like bike riding, quiet lanes. Not far from anywhere. Friendly locals. Please be aware there are no showers, you can use the pubs loos. You must try the food in the pub, all fresh veggies and lovely desserts. Personally we wouldn`t take our granchildren there because there isn`t anything for them to do, ideal for adults only though. GREAT!
