I think I may be the last customer for this site. The owner tells me that it is now closed, and the camping field is now a horse exercise area. She took pity on me, as the nearby Puffin campsite is also closed, and let me stay in my pup tent round the back of the house.
It's a shame because all the other sites in the area are in the caravan and posh camping business. I didn't spot another cheap site on my wanderings around Flamborough.

We stayed on this site after been fairly new to the whole camping experience and only having been on 4 or 5 different ones previously with a whole range of different locations and facilities we were not sure what to expect. This site is a very quiet and smaller site but we were met by a very friendly and helpful site owner on arrival who led us to our pitch and made us feel at home while helping us out with the local attractions ect. We opted for electric hook up at a very small charge and the ground rates are very cheap too. No shower block but has a very clean toilet, site is child friendly but lacks any play area and no ball games allowed, we also took our dog who was welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Grass area well kept and tidy slight slope but nothing to worry about. All in all a good more traditional site highly recommended.

Just spent two nights at this nice little site. We have been here on two other visits. It's a lovely. Little site nice short grass a small toilet building spotless at all times. The site is in easy walking distance of the RSPB Bempton reserve with its many sea birds including Puffins and Gannets. There is a pub in Bempton village and Flamborough is only a three mile drive away. Will be visiting this site again.

We spent 10 days at this superb CS, the site slopes but there is lots of wood available if you need some blocks. The owners are fantastic people and can't do enough to help you.
The toilet is kept spotlessly clean. It is located in a gorgeous little village, complete with village green and duck pond too, it also has all the peace and quiet you could want.
It is perfectly located for travelling to Bridlington, Filey Scarborough and closer to the site there is the famous Bempton Cliffs, along with Flamborough Head.
If you want a great little site set in the countryside but so easy to get to the beach etc then this is it.
