Nice big site, set back behind the pub away from the road, excellent walking from the site down the Shakespeare way. Very friendly and super helpful owners. Limited facilities but fantastic value for money.

This is the 4th time hear and each time is as good as the last we stayed 2 weeks and can highly recommend this site. The pub has a great Menu at a great price the grass is kept nice and short. We were close enough to the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions of Stafford upon Avon and far enough away to escape it all. As always 11 out of 10.

We stayed here in our campervan while my sister and her partner stayed in the hotel itself. It proved to be a great place to meet up. Very friendly owners, great food and a nice atmosphere in the pub. Basic camping facilities, tidy field sloping in places. We prefer to use our own facilities so not concerned about lack of toilets/Showers for campers. A very short drive to Stratford where we spent a wonderful weekend touring the Shakespeare houses. Lots of lovely cafe's and places to eat in the town centre. We would definitely use this site again.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this campsite, so I decided that it was about time that I gave it a review.
The site is at the rear of a lovely hotel & restaurant, which serves great food at very reasonable prices. The site is a Grass field with slightly slopping areas on the far side of the field furthest away from the road. The pitches near the water and waste are flat. On the occasions that we have stayed this area has been used by camper-vans. There are no toilets on the site, but there are toilets at the hotel which others have used while the restaurant is open. The views across the adjoining fields and area with the sun setting are breath taking. On our last stay we saw several Deer in the adjoining wooded area. On speaking to the owner he told us of a very nice circular walk that lead up through the woods and around the local area, we will be doing this on our next visit. The site is Dog friendly just remember to clear up after your pet so as not to spoil it for others. The site is a 5 minute drive into Stratford Upon Avon town centre and 10 minutes to Wellesbourne Airfield market. There is a Tesco local shop on route to Stratford upon Avon for small shopping, this is very handy as you don't have to go into the main town area.

Stayed here for 4 nights last month. Basic site with only a tap and elsan point but in a lovely spot.
The grass had been cut for us (3 caravans booked in a week before)and was lovely and short.
The owner of the hotel and his wife were very sociable and kept us laughing with his jokes and sense of humour.
For £8 a night being close to Stratford we felt it was good value for money and will return in the future

Stayed here for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend.
Lovely and peaceful. Main road fairly close but couldn't hear it from where we were pitched. Ideal access to Stratford.
Weather was really bad for us but we still managed to enjoy it!
We had a meal at the pub on the last night which was of good quality. Reasonable prices too.
Only downside was that there was no toilet on the camp site.
You had to go into the toilets at the back of the pub to wash etc in the morning and at night. This facility closed when the pub closed. It wasn't that bad but it would have been better with some camp site facilities. Dont let this put you off - it's just a shame it didn't have this. Oh forgot - no shower!
