Lovely spacious site well situated for St Davids, a few minutes' drive away.
Each unit is allocated a large pitch with a firepit and picnic bench.
Shower facilities worked well and were very clean, with washing-up area in the same facility. Additionally.
There is a lounge area in a polytunnel which is a delightful place to chill.
Washing machine and fridge are also on site. Great open space for children to let loose. We hope to return soon.
NB we were able to join the 'club' when booking online. No electric hook-ups - which suited us. No on site shop.

I've got to be honest, I don't really want to share this little gem of a site, but this isn't helpful to the owner who is trying to make a living so I've decided I will!
What can I say - this is a perfect little site, so long as you love peace and quiet, few people, clean facilities, massive pitches and simplicity!
Location: on the main St. Davids to Fishguard road about 2. 5 miles from St Davids. Beaches and places to visit all around.
The Site itself: A Flat well-maintained field surrounded by willow hedges for shelter. I have to confess that we had a week of glorious sunshine so I can't comment on how the site would hold up in wet weather, but it looked pretty free draining.
Facilities: A medium size wooden building that contains a wash up sink. Also a toilet with sink and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The facilities were always clean and look new, and there was always lots of hot water. This wooden room also has a washing machine and a fridge freezer. Everything we needed was there.
The Area: I was very impressed with Pembrokeshire. Loads of beautiful long sandy beaches, we visited Freshwater West, Newgale, Bosherston, Caerfai Bay, all dog friendly and clean. Newgale was excellent for surfing with a hire shop. Pembroke had a great castle, lovely walking everywhere around the coast, we did a nice cliff walk from Trecastle, very enjoyable. All in all there is loads to do and lots of tourist infrastructure. Pembrokeshire is like Cornwall but better! No crowds, dogs welcome everywhere. Massive empty blue flag beaches, castles, great walking, watersports. Perfect.
Overall this site was exactly what we wanted, quiet simplistic camping in a great part of Britain. However, I don't think this site is suitable for loud noisy campers, kids who need entertainment (play parks etc) those who want EHU (there isn't any!) or clubs etc.
If you are a quiet respectful camper who wants simple camping on a very small site with nice facilities in a great location then this might be the site for you!

We have had a wonderfully sunny and peaceful week at Spring Meadow Farm campsite. At some times the only activity was of the butterflies, chasing one another across the field.
Three of the five pitches were occupied and with 8 people between 3 tents there was no problem with the facilities. The owners keep the facilities in an immaculate condition - they run a market garden and are usually busy around the smallholding. As well as the family bathroom, toilet with basin and washing up area there is a hairdryer, hand drier, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Having a whole shelf in a fridge to oneself and a freezer basket was a unique experience for us. With St David’s and a supermarket only 10 minutes drive away we had a supply of Magnum ices and fresh milk.
We are retired so did not have children to entertain but the large grassy field provided a play area for the children there. A table tennis table with bats and balls was available but it was too hot for anyone to play last week.
We had not looked at Caravan and Camping Club sites until the description of this campsite caught my eye - “shaded by willows and with personal picnic table”. As we were trying to escape from the heatwave in the Midlands it sounded ideal. We have been so impressed that our application to the C and CC went off last week and we are looking forward to finding more fantastic sites.
Thank you for a wonderful week - the gooseberries, blackcurrants, carrots and peas have been fantastic!

Have just returned from a lovely week with our 4 and 5 year olds at Spring Meadow Farm and can't recommend it too highly. The children and adults enjoyed equally. (My son's description: 'it was amazing Mummy!')
Spring Meadow boasts clean and well thought-out facilities that worked well for families. A neat cabin provides free hot showers, washing up facilities and a fridge with shelf space for all campers. Very useful for chilling an evening beverage! There's also a washing machine for campers to use as well.
Pitches are all sheltered and very well-spaced out, with each also having access to a fire pit. The generous-spirited hosts sell well-seasoned firewood at incredibly reasonable rates, much appreciated during the somewhat chilly evenings we experienced. As the owners only allow 5 pitches to be booked per week, you get lots of privacy and space from your neighbours. However this leads to a lovely relaxed atmosphere, and both my husband and I, and our children, enjoyed getting to know other campers.
If you like simple, spacious, sheltered and well-cared for campsites then this site is for you. It's incredibly peaceful at night, lovely dark skies for star-gazing, lots of birdlife (we heard a cuckoo numerous times) and really chilled out. A great place to get away from it all!

This is a lovely little site just off the main St David's to Fishguard road in beautiful Pembrokeshire. This is Lynne and Tim's first season running a campsite (their primary business is running a market garden) and first impressions are good.
The site is a Certificated C&CC site so you do have to be a member of the C&CC to stay there.
The campsite consists of one fully enclosed, very private and quiet field with only 5 pitches. The field could easily accommodate double the number of tents so that should give you a idea of just how big the individual pitches are.
The field is fully enclosed by high hedges which gives it its very private and quiet feel. It also means the site is well sheltered.
Each pitch has a picnic bench and fire pit for real fires.
There is one drinking water tap and an outside area with full recycling facilities and a chemical disposal point. There is a also an outdoor table tennis table.
This is where the toilet/shower block is also located. This consists of a timber building containing a washing up sink, large fridge (free use), washing machine (free use), one cubicle with toilet and sink and a second larger room with toilet, sink, and electric shower. Hot water is plentiful.
As there were only a maximum of 3 pitches being used at any one time whilst we were there, you never really had to queue to use the facilities but whether this would be a problem when all 5 pitches are occupied it is difficult to say. However, it might be worth Lynne and Tim thinking about a second shower at some point in the near future.
The facility was always clean but then we had good weather whilst we were there. I could imagine them getting dirty if the weather was very wet and all 5 pitches were in use so this is something they might want to watch out for and if necessary clean them more than once a day.
Lynne and Tim are good hosts; welcoming and friendly, very helpful but without being obtrusive in any way. As they are new to the camping game they are willing learners so would respond well to any suggestions from seasoned campers.
Lovely fresh veg and salads from their market garden can be bought from the farm shop along with eggs and logs and kindling for building fires.
Nearest shops are in St David's, which is only a five to ten minute drive away, or there is a large well stocked SPAR shop at a garage approximately 15 minutes drive away heading towards Fishguard. This also supplies gas and shuts at 9. 00 p. M.
For anyone who already knows Pembrokeshire I don't have to tell you how beautiful it is; for those who don't, it's like Cornwall but without the crowds.
There are fantastic beaches within easy reach (Newgale, the Havens, Whitesands Bay ), lovely little bays and harbours (Solva, Abereiddy, Porthgain), activities such a coasteering, boat trips a plenty, historical towns and sites (St David's, Pembroke, Fishguard and Haverfordwest), coastal and inland walks and all the ususal tourist attractions.
There are plenty of good pubs and other eateries but nothing I can specifically recommend as we were only there a week and didn't really eat out. However, if you should visit Newport (about 6 miles north of Fishguard) the Golden Lion has an excellent menu (it is also a restaurant and offers accommodation) and their home made pizzas are to die for. A 12' pizza with a multitude of toppings can be purchased for around £8. 25.
In summary, Spring Meadow is an excellent, quiet little site with huge pitches, adequate and clean facilities, lovely hosts and with the definite added benefit of being able to sit round a fire in the evenings.
I would definitely recommend this site to UKCS members (particularly if you like quiet sites) and I know Lynne and Tim would give you a warm welcome.
