This site is a little piece of heaven.
Little Carpe Diem is the best site we have stayed on in France. It's beautiful setting amidst their 100 olive trees and small size mean that it is so very peaceful. The owners, Melanie and Sylvain, are into only their second season as owners of this site but have everything organised to a very high standard. They are so helpful and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble.
We had a Prestige Comfort pitch which has it's own shower, loo. And washing up facilities! All in a well designed little cabin on the pitch. Plus a lovely shady pergola, table and chairs and a large fridge, the perfect combination of facilities.
There is a great little swimming pool when you need to cool off, and the simple bar area is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing drink whilst you appreciate the views across the Durance valley.
It is also well situated for exploring the Luberon valley and the gorges of the Verdon as well as being within an hour of the delights of Aix-en-Provence.

Truly lovely site under new management. We camped under an olive tree with a spectacular view across the valley.
Each pitch has trees around it so you can be really private, but there are also communal areas (for example the bar) to meet other campers. In the bar there are musical instruments you are encouraged to play and one evening we had a great singing session.
The owners were super helpful and friendly and there are plenty of showers and toilets, all of which were clean and well maintained.
This is a highly recommended site and we hope to go back for a longer stay.

We loved this campsite!
The showers and toilets were very clean and all the areas were really stylish!
As mentioned there was a small pool, BBQ area, table tennis. For smaller children there is a small playground area with toys which was delightful. Our three children aged 7, 8 and 11 loved the site as did we. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely large pitch with EHU. The setting was beautiful.
When we stayed others campers included French, Dutch and a few English families - everyone really friendly. Whilst staying there we travelled by our camper to a near by swimming lake, a bit cold but the boys didn't seem to mind at all - it was beautifully clear.
We were only travelling through the area so only stayed a few nights but wished we could have stayed longer. This campsite bought a smile to our faces and does every time we think of it.

This is one of the best camp sites we have ever stayed on! It's in a lovely area, lots of nice towns and villages around and is close to the motorway so it's easy to find and get around. The French couple who own and run the site are absolutely charming, they speak English, not fluent, but enough to get by, when we were there every new arrival was given a personal guided tour of the site and the facilities.
The facilities are first class and kept very clean, there are two shower/toilet blocks, a small one at the bottom of the camp site where there are nice shady pitches and a larger one at the top where there is not so much shade. The pitches vary in size from very big to big, all well marked out and separated, electricity is available. There is a small pool and an adjacent relaxation/quiet area and a communal bbq and seating area, use of gas bbq is ok on your pitch.
We were there just as a couple, there were lots of families there, mainly Dutch, with small children but that didn't spoil our stay at all, the place is just so peaceful and chilled! There are two small towns/villages near by, one 4km distant and the other 12km, both have shops, bars restaurants etc and Les Mees (12km) has a nice public open air pool, as do many small villages in France. We couldn't fault the site, absolutely brilliant if you want peace and quiet, we are planning to go back next year already to do some more exploring and get some more quiet time!
