Not impressed with this site. The appeared to be an 'us and them' attitude between campers and static caravan owners and their kids. Signs on electric hook-up saying do not boil kettles or use heaters from these points. Unable to walk anywhere as there were no pavements and the roads were pretty scary with traffic. My wife went to the toilet block in the night only to be intimidated by a group of teenagers hanging around and in the toilets! Gents toilet trashed by kids unable to use. Not going there again!

We live only an hour from this site so we use it for the odd weekend. The owners are very nice, there are 3 beaches within a 10 min drive. The first beach is only 2 min drive from the site and you go to the village to get there. This is Ireland so yes the village has a pub, in factit has 3 or 4. It also has a cafe, fish and chip shop and a chinese. There is a playground in the village.
The site gets very busy during the main summer periods.
The only problem I have with this site is the showers, the last time we were there I paid my 1euro and watched the bare drizzle of water fall to the floor, if it had been hot water I may have jumped in but hot water never arrived.

The weather forecast gave a 98% chance of rain, but we went anyway & it didn't, although it had for nearly a month previously so as the pitches are grass we bogged the minute we tried to back onto our pitch, but not a problem for the owner who promptly arrived with his JCB & within a few minutes we were settled on our pitch.
The site itself has a lovely warm feel about it & we found the staff to be helpful & friendly.
The facilities are good & there is a lovely children's play area.
The local area has a lot of tourist attractions & the local village has lovely places to eat, but beware some of the road from the site to the village does not have a footpath.
