Firstly access to this site can be tricky in pub opening hours there is a tight turning in the car park which leads to the C/L this is frequently blocked by pub customers,
Next the site is uneven and blocks are a must,
There is a tap near to the Pub garden and an elsan disposal point nearby, When we visited we weren't shown where anything is but it isn't hard to find the basic facilities,
Another thing to be mindful of is that at random times the entrance gate is closed and locked and you may have to leave your car in the pub car park or you may get locked inside,
Now for something much more positive, The food in the Woolpack is excellent and not outwardly expensive, Locals are very friendly and so are the pub owners,
The site is very pretty and there is no road noise, you are left alone to enjoy your break,
The site is pretty densely populated with rabbits,
There are several Ehu points which all appear to be fed from one post 16amp,
The cost per night is plenty for what's on offer but overall a site that could be really attractive with a little TLC,
There are camping pods also available bookable through the pub website, Not the worst site I've been on by any standards, I'd say if you are in the area and need a basic campsite with a cracking pub go along and try it bear in mind there is nothing for children to do

Very nice cl. The food in the pub is very good with a large choice but best to book a table as it's very popular. The field is large and level. It can be a bit tricky if the pub is open to enter and exit the field as the patrons only leave about a large car size space which is not enough for a car and caravan. When we were leaving I had to drive about 100 meters up the road and stop in the road while my wife shut the gate and walked along the road to where I had stopped. Not good but we will visit again. The approach through Yalding can be tight. All staff are excellent and friendly.

Lovely little site set on a large paddock behind a lovely old pub. Fab food offered with large choice from the menu and specials.
Plenty of room to pitch and have your own space.
Clean outside loo in the pub gardens with probably the best chemical disposal point next door I have ever seen.
Warm welcome from the owners and staff, excellent meal service all fresh and good and well priced.
Walks nearby or short drive away, not far from the river walks and small village with shops for essentials.
Short drive to Maidstone for larger shops etc, Leeds Castle and the Hop Farm not far.
Children allowed to play in the play area of the pub. Water tap to site at the edge of the owners garden. Only thing that didn't make it perfect was a shower- that would just finish this lovely site off. We hope to return in the future at some point as not too far from home for us and great for a few relaxing days away. Well priced too which is always a bonus.
