Beautifully kept site in delightful village with pub and cafe.
Right on the edge of the beautiful North York Moors.
Excellent facilities and very quiet and relaxing.

This is a neat little site tucked away behind the church in one of the prettiest villages I have seen.
The site is well kept and the pitches don't overlook each other which is nice.
Despite the road being quite busy the site was really quiet.
There are lots of walks from the village and a nice pub, icecream shop and a deli.
The only downside is there isn't a village shop as such, so if you have a motorhome you need to stock up at Kirbymoorside Coop first - and I can recommend the excellent butcher too!

Fantastic cl in Hutton le hole. Clean tidy site. Greeted by the owner on arrival. Toilet block closed at the moment, not a problem.
Cafes, pub, deli, in the beautiful village.
Lovely signposted walk over to Lastingham via the moor for lunch at the Blacksmiths arms.
The Crown in H le H excellent. Folk museum worth a visit. Dogs welcomed everywhere. Will be back.

Just got home from this lovely CL site. As others have said, it is a very clean and tidy site with immaculate large shower with underfloor heating and 2 separate toilets.
We did a lovely walk via Lastingham and went in the lovely pub in the village ' Blacksmiths Arms' The food looked fabulous. Lovely open log fire, warm and cosy.
We also had a ride out to Helmsley and lunch in a french style deli/cafe I think it was called Mannion and co.
The weather wasn't the best and walking very muddy underfoot.
We went to the pub in the village The Crown each evening and ate there once, some of the best pub grub I have ever had.
The cost of thd pitch was £19 its adult only. Arrivals after 2pm. Departures 1pm.
Loved our stay and will definitely be back soon.

This is a beautiful site right in the middle of the village and next door to local shops, cafes and pub. The owner was friendly and helpful and offered us advice on local walks. The facilities are immaculate although we were surprised to have to share them with visitors to the car boot sale on the Sunday morning (we knew about the car boot sale and in itself this didn't cause us any other problems) The whole area is a delight but highlights included Pickering market and church, Scarborough beaches and castle, the North Yorks Moors Railway, especially if you get off at Goathland and walk to Grosmont, and Rievaulx Abbey. Will definitely use this site again.

Have to agree a great site but you do need a car
Being in a motor home was a bit difficult as the bus service very limited, while we were there we did not see any but this could be different in the summer.
There are lovely views from the pitches and electric hook up to each. The water tap was a bit too far for us to fill tanks but fine for van aqua rolls. The toilets 2 unisex and 1 shower and a wash up area all with plenty of hot water are very clean and modern. The site owners very friendly and helpful.
There is a pub close by (it was closed Monday and Tuesday when we there winter hours), did go in on Wednesday. Friendly staff, good beer, nice log fire and very popular for food. There are gift and craft shops and a chocolate factory, a couple of cafes, all odd opening hours so do check, but no general store, so make sure you have every thing you need, although it is not far by car from Pickering and Kirby Moorside where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. There are some lovely walks and the village is very pretty.
We would recommend it to any one if you have a car

What an absolute gem of a caravan site! This is classed as a CL with only 5 pitches, all hard standing, but with the added bonus of immaculate toilets, shower and kitchen together with your own key for the amenities.
This is definitely a site we will visit again, with friendly owners, and very close to a very good pub with real ale and great food.
It is also in a fantastic walking area (you get two printed walks in the area on arrival) a truly great place to visit on a 1st class site.
The village itself is very picturesque and has its own museum which is also worth a visit.

Quiet and peaceful adults only campsite in the beautiful village of Hutton-le-Hole.
All pitches are hard standing and have hook-up. A big advantage are the toilets and shower together with a kitchen area which are housed in a nearby building. A key for these is provided.
The owner is very welcoming and provides suggested walks in the area.
There is a good pub almost next door, and the pretty village of Lastingham, with its excellent pub, is only 20 mins walk away - a good final stop on a long walk!
Would recommend.

What a great little site, with really friendly owners. The showers and toilets were very clean and well looked after and you get a key for entry.
The mobile fish and chip shop calls in the village on Mondays and are very good, as are the fish and chips in kirbymoorside. Good dogs walk just outside the CL site as well as around the village.
The food at the Crown pub is first class and good value. There was a car boot sale on Sunday morning in the fields behind the site but we couldn't hear anything.
This is a first class site the best CL site I have ever stayed at.
