Fantastic fortnight at this relaxed small site right on the beach front in the Agay bay.
Small pitches, yes, but the owners made every effort to ensure we were able to have a pitch large enough for our three smallish tents (Even helping out with running repairs)
Would thoroughly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxed no thrills campsite right on the beach front with access to the sea suitable for young families.

Lovely Campsite with direct access to beach. Campsite staff seem friendly enough and speak some English. Facilities at the campsite are more than adequate- hot showers and hot water to wash up with, washing machines and ice bottles can be purchased at reception.
There is a restaurant with lovely sea view. Pitches are compact and pretty close together but the campsite has a lovely atmosphere and is very relaxed. The sea is directly accessed from the campsite exit so if you want to just spend time lazing in the sea and sunbathing this campsite is amazing.
Most of the pitches have plenty of shade except the ones directly on the sea front. Short walk to the village where there is a good supermarket and ice cream shops and restaurants. Cost approximately 50 euros a night for a family of 4 with car and electricity hook up.
Only real downside of the site is noisy tractors sweeping beach at 7am. Only very basic playground.

Amazing campsite!
Whilst staying in Paris we read one review on UKCampsite. Co. Uk which made this site sound amazing so we drove down from Paris and arrived at about 8 o'clock in the evening. Thankfully they weren't fully booked, as we had no reservation, but it was before the schools had broken up, so I think we were very lucky.
Especially considering we didn't know the area and at 8pm would have been limited for other options! We were offered a choice of pitches with the option of having one on the beach front for a couple of euros more per night so we obviously opted for that!
There is a simple smart metal fence which separates the campsite from the beach and four or so steps in the middle for you to walk straight out onto the beach! We had a big frame tent which only just fitted into our pitch, and there was no room for our car but that was really no bother as we were able to park that at the top of the campsite. The earth was hard stone so was difficult driving in the pegs even with the mallet we had taken.
A friendly neighbouring camper (who I think was Dutch - there was a real mix of nationalities at the site) lent us their big metal mallet, so be prepared. Lots of people had tourers and I'm sure there were regulars too!
There are electric hook ups, though we did have to wait a couple of days for one to come available near enough to our tent but we didn't suffer! The on site facilities are perfect. By the team we had finished setting up it was obviously quite late and the shower units had been locked up, but the friendly night warden opened them up for us.
There are lavatories available 24hr. The blocks were spotlessly clean. All the facilities you need, with washing up and use of washing machine and washing line too. All the staff spoke perfect English. You can buy bottles of ice from reception, and there is fresh bread and croissants delivered every day. There is an on site restaurant and bar and you can get takeaway pizza! Not the cheapest but very convenient and very good!
Honestly I can't rate this camp site highly enough. It was superb from start to finish. Our plan was to tour around the south coast pitching up in different places but this campsite was so perfect we had two weeks of heaven literally looking out over the sea from our porch.
The beach sand itself is fairly narrow so we never had anyone in front of us either! Only slight slight negative is that a tractor combs the sand every morning which was an early morning wake up call, but seeing as we spent most of the day sleeping on the beach it was really no bother!
We don't have children but there were some children at the site. A range of ages. But there were also lots of couples and older people too. A real mix.
We definitely hope to return one day.

This campsite was a real 'find' and just proves that a well-located 3* campsite can knock the spots off most 4* sites. Perfect for tents and small campervans - but owing to its size (and access) I wouldn't advise for caravans.
In our view (and of another online review site) this site is the best in Agay (including the 4* site up the hill). It's usually fully booked right through the high season, with many repeat visitors.
It's a small, relaxed and friendly site - but it's biggest selling point is that it's right on the beach. Literally, there are 4 steps down to the sandy beach. Which is great for families and quieter than the 'town' beach just further along.
In fact once camped, you could leave your car/van and spend your time both in Agay or taking the train (from Agay station) to Cannes, St Raphael, Nice etc. We drove to Marineland and regretted it - we could have taken the train and got there far quicker (there's a station at Marineland) with none of the stress from traffic.
Besides the bar, terraced restaurant (overlooking the sea), takeways (pizzas recommended), laundry and wifi there are not many facilities here. But who needs facilities when the sea's at the end of your pitch and the washblock is very clean with ample warm water ? Our family loved this site. It has everything you need for a great family camping holiday.
Agay itself is a fairly small, quiet town - just a couple of small supermarkets and various touristy shops/cafes. There are various restaurants - we had a good meal at a restaurant in the nearby shopping complex.
I'd highly recommend this site.
